We were excited to stay at this hotel, but it is extremely small with hardly any room for any of your personal belongings. The restroom is basically part of the bedroom area since the door is a sliding translucent door right next to the toilet, which means that your silhouette is very noticeable to the people sitting on the bed next to the toilet. Needless to say, this room was not comfortable and if you came with anyone other than your immediate family, you would probably not use the bathroom since they get to see your whole action of sitting on the toilet, waiting for be done and then wiping your butt!! Also, the sliding door doesn't shut too well, with some big gaps, which means there is no privacy while you are in the toilet.
The shower, there is only a semi wall between the toilet and the shower, with a sink in front of both. Needless to say, when you showered the whole bathroom floor got completely wet because there is no higher leveled floor so that the water from the shower doesn't flow to the toilet area or the sink area. It seemed like a cool concept to put the shower just there without anything to keep the water in just the shower area, but in reality, everything got wet, which means that the floor became slippery for anyone to walk in to wash their hands or use the toilet. Definitely not a comfortable stay, especially with two kids who had no room to walk around!!!

What a wonderful boutique hotel! I came to see some family friends in the area and was very pleased with my stay :) The whole place was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. They also have a restaurant attached to the lobby that is very trendy.

Pros: Hotel has an easy access parking area with a guard so it feels safe to park even at night. Check-in was quick. Lots of dining options in Korean town district. Decor look updated as industrial rustic. Bed was comfy though. Cons: Room with two doubles was a bit of a squeeze for a family of 4. Not much room for luggage or walking about. Door to bathroom was a heavy glass sliding door that gets stuck sometime, so we had to leave a gap and not close it all the way. Overall, will choose it again for a short stay or if there’s only 2 in a room.

Spent two weeks here to attend a local dance company intensive. Is in a perfect location of Koreatown for that, as it was an easy and safe walk (yes, passing by homeless encamped on the street) to the Wilshire Center (Equitable Bldg) every day. The hotel is right across from a large school, so there are lots of families and children out walking during the day. Lots of awesome food options within a 10-15 minute walk of the hotel. We did not chose to venture out at night, however. The hotel itself vibes younger, and it was acceptably clean. The beds were comfortable. The room is minimalist--no chair, just an ottoman sort of stool for sitting, and you really do need to take care in the shower area so you don't have a wet mess. Like others have said, be sure you feel comfortable with the person you're staying with regarding bathroom issues, because there is just a frosted glass door. The windows and doors are not at all insulated, so we heard a lot of noise both in the hall and outside, but at night things did quiet down, and we didn't have any trouble sleeping. The hotel staff is great and friendly. Since we were staying 2 weeks, we requested a mini-fridge, and they brought us one, which was a big help. The H Cafe is also pretty good, but it should open earlier. They offer ice water in the lobby, but would be helpful to have coffee available too, since closest cafe is about 10 min walk. Although not perfect,it's got a great location, fair price, it's clean, and has nice people.
