Check in with Matthew was excellent! He had some very good recommendations for dinner and for our trip to Universal Studios. The room was very clean and comfortable and the area was perfect for our family. We were able to walk around and find dinner and the market down the street was a nice touch!

Great hotel for family stay. Spacious room, clean, nice pool. More affordable than other hotels in the area.

The only issue we had was at check in. I called twice before arriving to ask about checking in at 2:00, an hour earlier than the regular check in time. I was told there would not be a problem to do that. When we arrived at 2:15, I was told there were no rooms available yet and we would have to wait until 3. The person at the desk telling me this was the same person I spoke to on the phone as I recognized her voice/accent. My family and I waited about 10 more minutes and then I went to back to the desk and explained to another woman at the desk the situation. She promptly checked on our room and checked us in immediately. Her name was Samantha and she was very helpful! The rest of our stay was good. We have stayed here before and enjoyed the property and the location to all the places we came here to visit. I would stay here again but I hope that the front desk is reminded of what customer service is!

Mixed bag of a review here. Hotel Burbank is an OLD Holiday Inn that’s been updated. The main floor with the cafe and bar looks great and has good vibes. But that’s where the money went, not really into the rooms. They are just average aesthetic and accommodations but clean which I care more about.
The Bad: 1) The entire front desk were all wearing masks. For a second I thought it was 2020 all over again.
2. I booked two rooms, the first room had a terrible odor that smacked you in the face when the door opened. They got us a new room.
3. They didn’t clean our room while we were gone.
4. My kids had a quarrel and our youngest needed to stay in our room which was King only. I explained the situation and that I needed a roll away as a result. They charged me $30 a night for the roll away!
5. The pool is original to the hotel and tiny. With two towers of guests for one tiny pool, not a great experience there.
The Good: 1) The staff, every single one I encountered or interacted with was really nice. Just good people everywhere.
2. Loved the convenience of the cafe in the morning serving delicious brews as well as the bar serving different types of delicious brews at night.
3. Price. It was about $30-40 less a night than a couple of the nicer chains in the area and I think the difference in price makes Hotel Burbank the better value
4. Walking distance to a few good restaurants
Bottom Line: Based on the price I paid vs. other chains in the area I would definitely stay

The pull out couch was broken/ missing springs, causing my kids to be unable to sleep and getting hurt falling through. When I called down to the front desk I was told there was nothing he could do. My kids ended up not wanting to stay anymore and going to stay with family for the remainder of our stay.

I will never go back after they kicked out my family stating we “vandalized the tub with crayon” when in fact it was a charcoal type of shampoo and they just didn’t want to clean it, laziness at its finest! Rude and unprofessional management.

Management is rude and unprofessional. They gave me a room with broken furniture and refused to fix it. The toilet flushes and dirty gross water just spills out all over the place! I have children using that toilet, nobody wants to sit on a wet toilet esp when it’s gross poop water that just shoots out of the actual toilet bowl!!! My family and I have been going there for years!!!! They just lost a loyal customer. I will never step foot there again. Worse experience we have ever encountered.

Took a trip to Universal Studios and found this hotel near a variety of dining options. Our family was not disappointed and we plan to stay here again for our next Universal Studios trip so we can try other dining establishments & maybe sho at their huge mall.

This property is just too large for me. Felt much like an aging Las Vegas casino hotel. Elevator waits very long. Price point seems right for a family visiting universal studios or Hollywood on vacation as was the majority of guests I saw encountered in public areas. Nights were very loud as a lot of neighbors had kids having fun, running, laughing, etc. Room was not very clean and bathroom was motel quality. I will likely not stay again.

We are going to a family event in Santa Ana but prefer to spend the night here. We have been to the Burbank Hotel several times. We like the hotel and the close proximity to the downtown.
