Catalina Courtyard Suites

My husband and children ages 2 & 4 enjoyed staying here. Although it’s not the closest to the pier it’s worth the extra couple of blocks. The rooms are nice and come with a fridge, which is important to us with small children. We requested a crib and there was plenty of space in the room for that and a kid mattress we brought with us. We stayed in a room w a king sized bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. We borrowed beach towels which was very necessary. The breakfast room with snacks was a Godsend especially with little ones. Recommended!

We love this hotel. we stayed at one of the suites. the view was impeccable. the cleanliness was spotless. we enjoyed the jacuzzi. the extra queen matress worked well with us as we were family of 5 ( with 2 seniors, 2 adult and a toddler). The manager - Jacob was very approachable and hands on. We appreciate the all day snack , coffee , tea and juice bar. My kid loved the courtyard with birds and fountain. As a parent, my ONLY concern which I think NEEDED much attention was the safety lock by the entrance door. My kid is almost 2 and very eager on everything, I would have loved if the front door have a double lock system. She tried to open the door and was almost successful. We had to put in a chair to prevent reoccurrence. Other than that, our vacation was superb because of the hotel as well.

We rented the family room and paid almost $600 for one night. While the one person we saw at the hotel was very nice and the room size was fine, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, dirty with stains on towels and a big lump of hair in the drain. I have travelled all over the world and this was the worst bathroom i have ever encountered. The island is beautiful, but this hotel needs a huge update.

The hotel is situated on an incline towards the bottom of a hilll. Check-in was easy. The guy that checked us in was very nice. The room i had was on the bottom floor. Which was accessible through a locked gate that you can open with your room key. It was clean, the sheets were fresh and clean. The room had a microwave and fridge. The bathroom was huge and clean. This property was very walkable to surrounding restaurants, shopping, amd the pier. The hotel offered a breakfast selection of packaged pastries, and juice. There is a fire pit that you could sit around that was lit from 6pm-9pm. The only small thing that I didn't like was that I could hear the people above me walking around. So if you stayed under a very active family, you would be miserable. Besides that, I was happy with my stay.

We had a double king—the space was great and the beds were reslly comfortable. We loved being so close to everything! We didn't need a golf-cart or taxi. The walk from the pier to the hotel was about 7 mins—our 4 year old walked without any complaints. Their continental breakfast was simple: packages pastries and packaged oatmeal. We muat be the only family who drinks with honey, because the honey packs were VERY OLD. Still, just for the location and comfortable beds, we'd stay again.
