Bellanca Hotel

Pretty great facilities overall, very friendly and helpful staff. It would be nice if they had a microwave and a way to watch streaming services. But would recommend to friends/family

Bellanca staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating but the hotel layout is a little funky. The location is great- close to everything but far enough down the Main Street that it feels a more peaceful. However, every room has windows and sliding glass doors that face out directly to common areas and the walkways that each person has to use to get to their room. Our room was on the top floor and our big window opened out directly onto the floor level of the sun deck which seemed nice at first until there was a constant flow of traffic of people to and from the sun deck. There were also kids running around on the sun deck for hours and peering into our window watching us and every morning there was staff cleaning up and doing maintenance on the sun deck, which is obviously necessary and appreciated but very awkward when you’re getting dressed for the day and suddenly there’s hotel staff directly outside your window. The sun deck is also where the staff took their lunch breaks and their lunch table happened to again, be directly outside of our window. Our other window and sliding glass door also opened up to the walkway to the sun deck so we had to have all of our blinds closed constantly which was a bummer for a nice beach hotel. We also received a call on our 2nd day as we were getting ready at 8 or 9 am that we could not use the bathroom at all for the next few hours due to maintenance next door which was also a bummer for the price we were paying

Loved our little hotel. Seems like hotels on the island are all a bit dated, but what makes up for the older styled rooms is the service. All of the employees were so helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again. We had the big oceanfont suite with a not so private balcony, but big. The only true ocean front on the main street. The kids had a basic room across the hall - a little room, but all they needed. The location was also excellent. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to try the Naughty Fox restaurant this trip.
