Hampton Inn Long Beach Airport

We were in town for a funeral and this location was excellent to pick up family at the adjacent airport. We were only in the room to s!eep an not much else we did take advantage of the breakfast which was great both days.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Two areas were less than satisfactory: first were the family directly above me on the 4th floor with 4 children jumping up and down, the noise coming through their floor and my ceiling was very annoying. At times it caused vibration in my room. The other less than satisfactory issue is with the blackout curtains that leave about a 50” gap from fully closing. My room looked down on the pool area which is heavily lit so you can not darken the room I was in. It made it difficult at best to sleep. I pointed these two issues out to the clerk at my check out.

The property was good with no major issues. However, the front desk staff present at 12:30 AM (Vonne) was awful. I have a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old, both of whom were sleeping at 1 AM. My wife has a back problem and my 5-year-old has a fractured hand. I parked my car outside the property to drop off my sleeping children and wife, but she started shouting at me, saying I could not park there. I shrugged as I was carrying a sleeping child, and the front desk staff began screaming at me, accusing me of being rude in front of everyone. I didn’t respond and went back to my room. I have checked into many hotels of all classes, and this is the first time I have experienced something like this. Front desk employees are supposed to greet and help guests, not scream at them. I will not be coming back and will not be recommending this hotel to friends.

Had a great over night stay visiting family, the room was large, clean and very comfortable.

Really impressed. Gym is phenomenal, lots of equipment, very clean, everything I tried was working. Really solid breakfast, even nice enough to give me a to-go box to take to my sleeping family. Very friendly check in desk, convenient location, room was clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay.

This hotel is in a newly developed business/retail park. It is very convenient to family in the area. Being new, it is very clean and modern. The coffee bar was fully stocked and available whenever we needed it, and the self-serve breakfast was stellar.

We always stay at the Hampton Inn when we visit our family in Lakewood. It is convenient , clean, comfortable and has a great breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. Street noise was very loud on Lakewood Blvd. Other hotel guest were loud, children were running up and down the hall ways and in the lobby area. Try and get a corner room if you are staying there.

Visiting family. Breakfast was great. Wey clean and quiet.
