Beach Inn Motel

This is a very nice basic family owned property. The staff was very friendly, the room was nice but nothing fancy. Basic amenities with a small microwave and small fridge. Bed had just a small spring platform and was a little thin but still had a good nights sleep. Parking was well lit and plentiful. No breakfast but there was fresh coffee available in the office. Just a very nice place for an affordable price. I will stay there again.

Management was alright, for the most part they leave you alone unless you have people come over. They cannot use the parking lot, they must park else where. And to have company or family come over you must pay $25 per person. During my 2 month stay, I was asked to leave once, but I was allowed to keep my belongings in my room at least for free. While I had to pay to stay the night at another hotel so I didn't get residency. My only other complaints are: #1. The maids are nice but they never knock or offer sheets/towels/trash bags or Toiletries...nor will they unclog your toilet.. #2. There's no weekly rate, they charge you $130 Monday to Thursday and $160 Friday to Sunday. And you can only book a room online at $110 Monday to Thursday. #3. The vending machine only takes quarters ( I believe ) Pros: the location is great. There's a laundromat across the street.

It is so stressful checking these reviews and knowing whether to believe them or the people exaggerate. So here's the real review. I'm from Norcal and I'm picky. We got there and to be honest it looked like a dump from the outside. The staff was super cool though and let us check in 4hrs early with no charge! The room was very nice and smelled like bleach which was good and the floors were damp from being cleaned so that was awesome, I knew it had been cleaned well. Looks way better on the inside, room was nice and modern looking. Clean and comfy, I always bring my own towels so I do recommend that and top blanket was super thin but we had our own blankets. Pillows and sheets were cool. Location was great, we could walk to the beach, walk to stores, everything was close by. Neighborhood is kinda ghetto at night but we were used to that so no big deal. Lots of sirens like at home. We are adults and left the kids at home. If I had my kids with me, I wouldn't let them leave the room alone. Anyway, we had a great experience and staff was awesome and friendly, place was clean, easy parking, close to everything, decent price so it was a great time!

Very convenient to the family I was visiting.
