Appreciate the convenience and charm of the hotel, as well as the kind service at check-in. The staff oriented us well and we were to out room quickly. Everything was clean and well-appointed. Extra kudos for the staff being good with our kids, as well as for proximity to the charming downtown. We walked the area for leisure while one daughter had an appointment.

The rooms are dark and dated, and the view from my window was of a graveyard. This may be fine for some people, but I was traveling with kids, and they found this to be creepy. Closing the shades to hide this only makes a dark room worse. I was disappointed with this stay and would not recommend to anyone looking for a staycation or visiting the area.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent pool. Very quiet, not too many kids, quick room service, comfortable bed, spacious room….so many positives. My only negative would be the parking fee. I hate parking fees.

The hotel is lovely, clean, attractive, in a great location in a charming town, but a tad worn. I think if they replaced the carpet and renovated some of the bathroom fixtures it would be tip-top. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. Nicole at the front-desk quickly helped us relocate our room because we were next door to a rambunctious toddler. It is a very family-friendly place so not a good fit for guests who want a "romantic" getaway without children around. I think it's great that a nice hotel like this caters to families. I saw a nice mix of older people (over 65) and couples with small children and teens.

I stayed here with my newborn and husband. While I was there I was surprised to start my period. It was the first time since having my baby which usually doesn’t happen while breastfeeding. After I checked out a hotel staff called to tell me they would be charging me $391 for getting menstrual blood on towels and sheets because they have to throw them away. This is a natural bodily function that women buddy go through and men would never have to be charged for. I will be pursuing legal action against the hotel and their staff for shaming me and charging me for being a woman.
