Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bryant (Little Rock), AR

Very run down. Needs to be updated. I wanted to leave and go somewhere else, but with a toddler I was just ready to settle down for the night. In my opinion the accommodations did not match the rating. I should have paid attention to the date it was built.

The woman at check-in seemed to be expecting us, but it still took several minutes. She then informed me she accidentally charged my card twice (for the incidentals hold) and that the charge should disappear. I'm still waiting to see what happens with my "pending" charges. Then when I asked for pool towels at check-in (they had a sign to ask for them there), she said she had three and asked me would that be enough (clearly seeing that we had two adults and two children). I thought it was odd. When we did go in the pool, it was covered in bugs and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while (kind-of cloudy water). Not super surprised considering it's an outdoor pool right next to a highway, but still...we just got in for a quick dip and then got out. The room was fine, but one of the lightbulbs was out in one of the lamps. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to have had that working lamp. The air conditioning definitely worked in the room (great!), but it was so cold my kids wanted an extra blanket and there were none in the room (like at most hotels), so my husband went downstairs to ask for one. Luckily they gave him one. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in awhile. Luckily we were only there for one night. The restaurant recommendation the front desk woman gave us was wonderful and she really was nice. The front desk woman in the morning was really nice as well. The hotel definitely had that going for itself.
