The entire staff was very sweet to my family. We felt like we were on vacation for one night, I will be back!

It’s old. The air conditioning was very loud & toilet so low to the ground. Like for a toddler.

I only stayed for one night, so this is from a limited experience. I arrived at 5 PM with 3 buddies for one evening at the end of a 'boys trip'. We are all married, all have kids. These trips are looked forward to all year - we try to do one every year. I'm guessing the hotel is suffering from staffing shortages, like a lot of other industries. The first thing we did was go to the pool. The pool bar had closed at like 4 PM, and we were told that we could go to the lobby bar to get drinks, which is not very convenient. Its is probably 3 stairways and 50 steps to get the the lobby, plus quite a bit of walking. It isn't so much the exercise I was trying to avoid, but the 15 minute round trip wasted to get a drink. We went up to the hot tub -- it was closed. No idea why, The pool was badly in need of skimming -- there were dead bugs, stuff that blew in on the wind, and some straws and cups floating around. Cups and plates everywhere from people partying earlier in the day were on almost every poolside table, waiting to be cleaned up. Just a sub par experience for a Marriott.
All that being said, we ate in the restaurant later and it was great, the views are great, and the rooms were great, too. SO it all kind of balanced out, but the end of the day at the pool was completely underwhelming.

Gorgeous grounds with ample flowing vegetation and many activity options including multiple pools, about a half dozen secluded hot tub spas sprinkled about the property, tennis and sand-volleyball courts. Very clean rooms with resort-side rooms walking out onto garden porches. Staff was courteous. CONS: as of april 2023, slide remains broken which kids will care about, and lots of stairs everywhere so patrons with limited mobility beware.

My family had a great time beautiful views close to airport and shopping. Room could use a bit of a update but beds were comfortable and seemed right fit the price. Only small negative was the pool heater wasn’t working and it was low 70’s outside not even my kid could handle the cold. Other than that food was good typical resort prices.

We made the mistake of traveling with our 5 month old so that's on us. However, he loves the water so we figured we'd spend plenty of time in the pool tiring out. The pool is NOT heated. Pretty cold for adults let alone babies. The pool was the main reason we booked this particular resort. We also could not get housekeeping services. We requested new clean towels when no one came to change over the room and two hours later still had none so we had to track down the housekeeping and just get them off the cart. We were charged for parking although we had no car. I will say we were given late checkout and that was nice. I would not return.

We had expected better from Marriott. We stayed here as part of a family vacation. One big reason for choosing this hotel was the pool, unfortunately, the hot tubs were broken and the water slide was closed for repairs. The hotel is large and sprawling, yet no one offered luggage assistance at check-in. Overall the hotel is dated and has an odd small in the hallways. There are better options in the area.

Quite simply the worst hotel night stay of our lives. We called the desk around midnight to complain of screams and a yapping dog in the adjacent room. The security was dispatched and assured us a dog was not allowed. Less than a half hour after they spoke to the room full of kids, the yapping and commotion resumed. We attempted to involve the local police but they wouldn’t respond. The next morning the kids, dog and one very upset “mother” were in the hallway, she made a threatening move towards us, I presume for calling security on her litter. Eventually they cleared the hallway and we fled the premises. Later when checking out we were asked about our stay. The receptionist was not interested in an honest answer and really couldn’t have cared less, it was a “you paid your money and took your chances” attitude. We stayed an additional 6 nights in the area and would have liked to have stayed longer at this resort. Fortunately there are some equally priced and equivalent facilities in the area where we felt SAFE, respected and valued. Any place that allows parents to let their kids have there own room to terrorize other guests while they close the bar is not acceptable, I was blind sided by such irresponsible behavior. This is a beautiful place without a corresponding reputation. We forwarded a detailed report to Marriott Headquarters and are in the process of contacting any and all travel sites that will listen.
