Comfort Suites Phoenix Airport

Stayed 3 nights here with my husband and 3 children 1st night i saw a shadow of what looked to be the shape of a man standing by my doorway i laid back down and forced myself to sleep. Sat morning my husband said he saw a dark shadow when he got up to go the restroom but when he turned on the light it was gone. Sunday morning my 12 year old said she saw a man standing by looking at me and my husband sleep then turned to her and just starred at her she said she turned around and covered herself.sunday night we all slept with the hallway lights on. Its a dark creepy hotel at night and a lot of noises going on.

I called the day before my reservation to request the first floor because I was traveling with my infant and toddler and they were so polite and gave me a room on the first floor close to a door so it was easy to get in and out with my kids and our luggage. It was very quiet (probably besides my kids) and the staff was super friendly. There were only minor things like the bathroom door opens touches your leg if you’re on the toilet and it was just awkward where it swings to the bathtub. Overall it was great.

Family member came to pick us up and was astonished at how nice the lobby was. Could not imagine why people complained about the food. My kids thought it was amazing. Yogurt, orange juice, cereal, bagels, bread, waffles, coffee with GOOD creamer (french vanilla-cheap hotels are switching to the powder or original bleh). The staff were all very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Yes, the carpet is aging and bare in spots, but I was traveling alone with my kids and felt safe and the beds were comfortable. The hide-a-bed was a little springy per my daughter, but better than the floor or sharing with a brother! Close to the freeway/airport/convention center. Would stay again.

assigned the same room as us to other guests, giving use of all the room services (bathroom, shower, poorly made bed, heating at its maximum temperature, etc.), the most reprehensible thing was when they tried to open the room at 11pm when my whole family was already asleep, then I went down to reception very upset by the situation and the administrative staff had no concern or interest in what happened, really a very bad experience..

Kids loved the overall look of the hotel. You can tell it is older and could use some updates. For example… holes in curtains… doors have years of scuff marks and dings. Pool was cold but kids still enjoyed. Used the laundry and clothes still came out damp. Found out after we checked in that they actually do not have their own shuttle service to the airport. They use Lyft. We chose this hotel don’t them stating they had a shuttle service to the airport. Breakfast was rushed as we had to get to the airport early and they start later on weekends. Overall, a lot of things could have been better but we have definitely stayed places that are worse.

Hotel was perfect near airport. They did not have a shuttle but overall we will stay again. Felt safe with the family.

Breakfast was good and quick checkin. Property seemed a bit old needing a remodel. Everything worked. However got bitten by bed bugs , found one crawling on my kids clothes. I’m awaiting response from the manager. The room also smelled of something. We just dealt with it since we needed a place to stay.

My comments may not qualify because my family and I didn’t stay as planned. We checked in at 7:30pm, went to our room and as soon as we turned on the lights we saw about 5-6 tiny baby cockroaches crawling on the table where the coffee maker, fridge, & microwave was located. At the same time my son went to use the bathroom & found 2 larger cockroaches on the bathroom wall. The room appeared “clean” but after we killed the roaches on the table more baby ones kept coming out and we traced it to the back of the fridge. I immediately reported this to the front desk staff and asked for another room but she told me there were no available rooms for that night—they were sold out. We hadn’t unpacked anything so we decided to check out if the hotel that same night so we left at about 8:30pm. The front desk clerk was not helpful at all and was very lackadaisical and she didn’t even offer us any options like other hotels where we could find alternate lodging. Overall our experience with this Comfort Suites was very unpleasant.

I was given the wrong room. When I called staff about it, I was told there was nothing they could do. I had 3 adults and 2 children. I was forced to sleep on the floor due to lack of beds and the two full beds we were given instead of queens. The service was horrible. Room was dirty. Sheets didn’t even fit the beds. The pool and hot tub looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The chlorine in the pool was enough to choke a horse and the pool towels were dirty. Just all around a horrible stay.

The customer service was phenomenal! Maria in the front desk is amazing! Was a great place for families!
