Holiday Inn Express & Suites Moody - Leeds, an IHG Hotel

Not accuse customers of smoking in there room just because the color of their skin. The room next to us had a strong odor of smoke from the time we checked in. But it was late and everything us was nice so we stayed. But the next day we were charged $150 for smoking in room with a room full of children even a 6 month old baby. Ridiculous!

Loved the facility! Not everyone on staff was the friendliest, but we had several nice interactions and the room worked great for my family!

The carpet in the two rooms was not clean. The carpet in the elevator area on our floor was not vacuumed. The sheets on my bed were stained. We had only one towel. The check-in staff was polite and professional, but the two rooms where my family and I stayed were not clean.

There are pubic hairs all over the bathroom floor upon check in. I have a toddler and though we were booking a clean hotel especially since she is still little. My card was charged for more than my room was booked for. I still don’t understand that. Then I was asked why I was here. That information is not relevant.

Highly recommend. Clean hotel, safe area with plenty of places to eat and a Publix. Front desk was very friendly and a great breakfast provided. We didn’t notice the Highway noise. Traveled with 2 children and 2 adults.

My husband and I stopped here for the night as we were driving back from Florida to Nebraska. We checked in about 10:30 or so, front desk people were very nice, trying to find parking was a little difficult because of how many big trucks and moving vehicles that were taking up multiple spots, but we found one in the back by the pool. Got inside and its very nice looking. there are two elevators both working, one elevator's lights didn't work (there was a sign) kinda creepy but nothing horrible. We got to our room and was surprised at it. very nice and clean. the ONLY issue we had was the toilet's flapper in the tank didn't want to close after flushing, so we had to pull the tank lid off and close it. Breakfast the next morning was rather good. we couldn't serve ourselves, but there was a nice kid getting it all for everyone. I know before I book a place online, I always go through comments and try and find the honest ones. This place isn't bad at all. Also the only weird thing is that one of the room keys have to be in a slot in the room for the electricity to work. Never seen or heard of that before. Nice place, nice room, good breakfast. I recommend. I Cant say anything about around the area, we only stayed so we could sleep then we left again, So I am unsure of what is around it food/shopping wise
