I booked 3 rooms. 1 for my wife and I, 2 for in-laws, 3 for my sister’s family. Our room was fine and no problems but my in-laws had to change room due to a/c not working. Also my sister had to change rooms due a/c not working and their room’s floor was wet

The staff was very friendly. There were a lot of people checking in at once, but they remained patient & helpful. There was a soccer tournament going on so lots of kids were staying in the hotel. Our room was right off the elevator so it was noisy, but overall it was a good stay.

I read alot of reviews before picking to stay here at the Double Tree and I’m still looking for what all of the negative reviews were talking about. Everything was wonderful at this hotel! The breakfast was delicious, the people who did the breakfast were very nice! The front desk service was excellent, everything we asked for we received with a smile! The rooms were spacious and clean upon arrival. I especially enjoyed the cool lights in the bathroom, the nice shower, and the Direct Tv! The hotel was fully booked the time I was there but there was no wait for the elevator! Lastly the view is amazing we stayed on the 8th floor and its the most beautiful view! Overall I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Double Tree for helping my family and I have a safe, comfortable place to lay our heads! We will be back!

My wife, myself and our 4 month old baby were trying to get from PCB to Nashville in one days drive, but our progress was horrible bc of traffic and the baby was miserable so we decided to spend the night in Birmingham at this hotel. We were exhausted when we showed up and were so grateful to be staying at a clean property that felt safe. Front desk staff could tell we were worn out and they were super kind to us. I’m very thankful for this spot of respite we found in the middle of our joinery.

Upon arrival, there was no cart at 10:30 PM to carry luggage to the 3rd floor room we were given. We were told by the front desk clerk to "go walk around the hotel and look for one because he did not have time to do so." We were then made to carry luggage for 2 adults and 3 kids w no cart. The next morning, same experience. The different front desk clerk got very nasty and asked me if I expected them to knock on all doors to find a cart. They do not offer free wifi. For the price of the room, there was no wifi, no fridge, no microwave and no cart. We just felt like we paid a lot and got very little.

Another great experience. I have found a great hotel that makes me feel welcomed and comfortable. I enjoy the great staff, (Eric, Loretta, Lisa, Sarah, Kim, Carmine and Abby). One issue is that there was a baseball tournament in the area so there were a lot of teams there. The kids were running around the building and slowing down dinner service in the evening. Other than that it was great. Thank you as always 😊

Great property to stay at in Birmingham! Definitely would be back to stay again. Super clean, staff super friendly. Love the bar downstairs while the kids played. Only thing we were disappointed with was the pool wasn’t open. We were looking forward to it being open since on their sign it says it opens in May. But other than that, definitely recommend this hotel!

The bathroom was poorly designed. Very high sink made it very difficult for children. Also the lighting in the bathroom was poor over the sink area.
