It was very nice. Only 1 night I had my 3 young grandkids. This room worked perfect for us. It’s an older hotel but it’s very well kept. Could use a few upgrades but nothing major. The breakfast was good. We were in a No Smoking room but it did still have old cigarette smell but that’s almost every older hotel even if it’s non smoking. They had a nice covered area for with outdoor seating and tables. Overall it was good and the staff was Great. The front desk was so nice.

Nice and quiet, staff is friendly and a lot dining options around the property, but need to updated the facilities in the room. Short drive to downtown fairhope with lot of sight seeing and shopping, having a nice stay with family.

Positives: Check-in was great, and the staff person who greeted me was nice. The town itself was quaint and the location of the hotel was conveniently located near (chain, fast food, and a few locally owned casual) restaurants. We were only passing through and stayed one night. The outside of the property seemed clean and well lit.
Negatives outweighed the positives for us. It’s a refurbished older “outside access” style hotel, that needs another facelift. The towels and sheets need to be replaced. They were supposed to be white but were very dingy, giving the impression of being dirty. The furniture showed signs of its age by being scuffed and discolored along the edges. It smelled very strongly of bleach when we first arrived, as though it had been cleaned…but unfortunately the age and wear of the fixtures and features made it somehow feel unclean. It was a non-smoking room, that smelled like smoke when we first arrived, before turning on the window a/c unit. The double beds felt very small…probably full sized. We can’t rate the breakfast, because we left before they started serving it at 6:30. We were eager to leave, because in the middle of the night, a potential domestic disturbance was occurring in the room beside us, to the point where our whole family woke up to a voice crying for help, and we had to call the police.

As a woman traveling with 2 kids I tried to find a deal for an early vacation day and this was it. I read in a review, "a great hidden gem." We were not disappointed. The staff were sweet and gave you all the details upon arrival. Absolutely terrific breakfast as well. Thank you all so much for a great stay

The staff have very nice attitudes. Cute Fairhope Inn for a small family or a couple staying a few days. Well kept for cleanliness and breakfast was a good simple one. It was perfect for me, my husband and service dog.

Staff went out of their way to find us a room (the one room?) that wasn’t smoky or musty. (I swear I’m not usually a fussy person but I have delicate airways.) The Hotel has spaces outside for people to smoke, which seems like a good idea, but one large noisy family had a picnic and game night out there just outside our room starting about 9:00 at night. Alabama… whew.

This property was so accommodating! We were traveling and arriving late and they reached out and called to give us specific check in instructions so it would be easy, and efficient. The rooms were cozy, quiet, and clean! The hotel appeared to be a family owned business and the staff was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Would recommend to others in a heartbeat.

Looking for an economy stay while visiting family...found this gem. Very conveniently located. The people were very friendly and breakfast was a nice perk.
The room we had was on the main level with a covered pavilion just outside our room which turned out to be the hang out for guests who wanted to talk on their phones or watch TV while on break during the night. We could hear all the conversations and hear the tv programs. Had to ask management to make them tone it down to sleep. They were gracious and it became quiet after that....lesson learned. If you stay there, find you a room away from the pavilion.

Wow! This place is beautiful! Check in was quick and friendly. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and good size. Breakfast had many options and was delicious. The kids especially enjoyed the mini waffles waffle maker! 10 out of 10 would definitely stay again. Our family’s whole experience in Fairhope was wonderful!!
