The Priory Hotel and Restaurant

We weee staying for a funeral the lady receptionist went above and beyond with empathy for me and my family

Beautiful hotel , I had one of the separate cottages which was lovely ….. I checked in at 18:00 but was told the bar and restaurant was fully booked until 20:30 which was very disappointing as no one wants to wait 2 1/2 hours to eat after checking in ….. I walked 10 mins to the Ship in and had a burger which wasn’t the point of me booking here but that’s what it was - very comply bed but awoken with all of the local parents and young children in the car park outside the cottage dropping off their children for school 🙈 I get they have to park somewhere but when u purchase on of only 5 separate cottage rooms I’d suggest not letting them park so close as to wake residents -Tasty breakfast and friendly staff
