Golden Jubilee Hotel

Stayed here with my two kids, very clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and just an overall good aura about the place, and in the words of my 8 year old it should be a 5 star, shame about the jacuzzi now gone from the spa but can’t have it all. Will stay again

Comfortable and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff who are very attuned to the needs of the patients and their families using the hotel while attending the hospital next door. We have stayed there on a number of occasions, and while the the food served in the restaurant was excellent a suggestion for improvement would be to change the dinner menu from time to time.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Golden Jubilee for leisure, 2 adults and 1 year old. We used this hotel as a base for going to Loch Lomond (20 mins drive), Blair Drummond Safari (1hr drive) and general shopping and walking. Hotel is really clean and well presented, staff are wonderful, attentive and it’s true what they say “People Make Glasgow”. We had a lovely view of the Clyde and could even see some planes departing nearby Glasgow Airport. It’s a busy place but parking was free once you found a space. Breakfast and food was good. Hotel provided travel cot and bedding for it. Only grip and nothing major, was not being able to access HDMI port on the tv in room so we could attach fire stick for kids programmes. Would certainly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Lovely big room on the upper level with a nice view of the river. Bathroom and bedroom were spotless. It was very handy for traveling into Helensburgh to visit family. We had three night here and would definitely stay here again. The only thing I could find fault with was the air conditioner as we couldn’t adjust it to cooler and had to open the window as it was quite warm at night.

My family stayed at the hotel for my father’s funeral. The accommodation was excellent and we had some lovely food including tea and sandwiches after his funeral. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely stay here the rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff were great, breakfast was exelant so much choice. The only negative and the reason for 4 stars. The pool area could do with a good clean it was very dirty round the pool, the Jacuzzi was cold and the sauna wasn't working. The steam room was great. It didn't stop us from spending time in it with my grandchild. It was the main reason for booking the hotel. I will be back so please clean the pool are and it would 5 stars.

Overnight stay to attend a family party, the hotel was great, the hotel was very nice and clean and all staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff were great. Rooms were very big a spacious which was great for my 1 year old to have room to play with her toys. Never got the chance to use the swimming facilities due to only being there a short time but I would definitely stay at this hotel again. If I had to fault anything at all I would say the check in time of 3 is a little late. We arrived into Scotland at 12 and had to find things to fill our time until check in.

We travelled down from up north 400 hundred miles for a family funeral and we would be arriving early when we got there our room wasn’t ready we knew it wouldn’t be ready at that time the manager offered us another room that was ready we were delighted so thank you so much

Overnight stay with the grandkids they loved it

Short break to visit family in Glasgow. Easy to get into town.
