Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

Friendly and professional reception staff, our room wasnt ready for half hr, gave us complimentary family drinks. Room spacious, good bfast and great dining room staff. Very accommodating. The only negative is the pool, rabbit warren to gain access and crowded(small pool). Great location too, 2min walk to CaltonHill steps. Would recommend hotel.

Very comfortable stay for our family! Their breakfast is one of the best we have ever had at a hotel.

Location of the hotel was great, everything you need a short walk away. Loved the layout of the room and the bathroom was huge and spacious! Always great when travelling with family. We loved staying here.

The staff made us feel like honoured guests and like family members at the same time. We absolutely loved our stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

The room was charming and Vinny at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate our needs with a senior and young family members.

Really good stay. We had a family lunch next door at Howie’s so the location was perfect. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and we had very good breakfasts. All in all a very good experience, thankyou.

check in was rough. the service was not very friendly. however it was more than made up with early morning breakfast goodie bags made for all family members as we got in our arranged car to the Glasgow airport. also breakfast is a great value and the staff was amazing!

Was a great place to stay near Waverly Station .. nice shopping center very close with great restaurant choices .. bar area nice and family room was good size for 3 ..

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Staff very friendly and the rooms very clean and spacious. Lovely swimming pool and spa facilities. The family loved our stay and highly recommend. Will be visiting again for sure

We paid ahead of time through Expedia for 5 nights in a family room which is 2 beds. The gave me a room with one double bed. I said I needed 2 beds. They were booked and would not honor my family room reservation. They put us in the "dungeon" - 1st floor when main level is 5th floor, no visible windows, backing the alley with constant trash can noise. They would not refund me the difference, saying I had already paid Expedia. The manager was apologetic and comped a dinner, but that did not make up for the hassle, inferior room, and price difference between what we paid for and what we got. They even charged us at our dinner for ordering a side. I asked Expedia to assist as they told me I had to go through Expedia, and they only contacted hotel who again refused to refund any portion of what I overpaid.
