Comfortable stay in historic manor with charm. Room was large, but interior was dated. Our room had lovely garden view and play structure in walled garden for kiddos. Staff was very friendly. Hot breakfast was served in lobby and included options like full Scottish breakfast, eggs Benedict, French toast, etc. Note, there were no elevators and rooms are 1-2 floors up so you must carry your luggage upstairs.

Very friendly staff, provided crib for our baby at last minute notice, and had great breakfast. Offered 24/hour beverages and our room was large with tall ceilings - very spacious. Definitely an old school vibe but clean and homey.

I would like to point out the staff were lovely. I really liked them, I don't have any names unfortunately but they were lovely. I do feel I paid quite a bit for what was a fairly basic room. It was an OK size but the bed was quite hard, the bathroom quite small and just a bit basic really. It had super thin walls, so much so that the man snoring heavily ALL NIGHT was quite the issue. We had a cooked breakfast and it was really nice, the lady couldn't of been nicer. The gardens looked lovely, loads of birds really well kept with a play area for kids. It was easy enough to find and parking was great. I wouldn't want to put people off but the price for the room was what let it down for me.
