We only stayed for 1 night after a day at Howletts but the staff were fantastic. It was our son’s 11th birthday and they really made him feel special. Thank you ☺️ Lovely family room, view of the sea, really nice dinner and absolutely superb breakfast. We walked into Whitstable along the seafront. Really great stay

We had one night at the Marine Hotel which we booked last minute. Finding a hotel to visit with a toddler isn’t always easy but I could clearly tell from the outset that Marine Hotel offered itself as a child (and pet) friendly hotel. Beautiful beach front views, free parking outside the hotel and an absolutely brilliant breakfast! All the staff we spoke to were wonderfully friendly and helpful. A wonderful bolthole for visiting Whitstable and the nearby area.

Fabulous hotel,excellent food and service. The only point worth noting is that we had a toddler and a baby and family rooms are on 2nd floor with lots of stairs ,no lift to 2nd floor.The stairs are mentioned before booking in that not suitable for those with mobility issues but to be honest I hadn't thought about it as to youngchildren. Luckily everything else made up for this inconvience and I guess we're fitter for the experience.
