We only had an overnight stop, from family visit to Nottingham Had a drink, left at 5am Everything fine, stayed before.

Great location for overnight stay travelling up north. Really friendly welcome and we enjoyed a nice dinner in the bar. Reasons for not giving a higher rating: strong smell of drains in room (despite overall cleanliness of room) and opening hours of pool are too restrictive for families on an overnight stay (no entry after 6.30pm and then not again until 10.15am next morning). For this reason probably wouldn't use again for overnight stay whilst we have the kids as not worth the extra cost vs other hotels nearby.

The hotel itself has been nicely done out but you can hear evry little creak from old floorboards from every room surrounding yours . This was a common complaint amongst all of my party .it was virtually impossible to get any sleep. they also allowed singing and piano playing in the bar directly below our room untill after 4am . so would not recommend for those who want to sleep or who have kids .staff were very friendly though and breakfast was really good.

I stayed with my granddaughter whilst visiting family in the dales. We had no issues staff were very helpful.
