Such a great hotel. The location is amazing. The rooms are extremely spacious, well equipped and very cool/modern. The staff were so helpful.
There was a room that had activities for the kids including a ping pong table. We were treated to a complimentary glass of wine in the bar as well. The only very minor issue was the aircon in the room. It took a very long time to cool down.
Great experience overall. Highly recommended it.

Brilliant hotel. Rooms beds food staff. Couldn’t be better. One complaint. Could there be a dress code at breakfast? I don’t want to see a family of four opposite me all in their pyjamas. Not a nice sight to see a 6 foot man in shabby Peppa Pig pyjamas where when he sat down I saw his belly and underpants. Roll out of bed. Don’t shower and come down to lovely dining room full of folks enjoying breakfast. No thanks. Apart from that it’s our fourth visit and would always choose the Kimpton.

We had a fantastic one night stay at this hotel as a family of four. A very comfortable room, and brilliant breakfast, but what stood out the most was the staff - everyone we came into contact with was so warm, helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Great hotel, fascinating building and very comfortable room. The bar was busy and had a great atmosphere. Perhaps a bit lively for families with young kids but was nice to feel part of the city. Nice touches like ping pong table and fussball to amuse the kids and lots of quiet lunge spaces to relax

I booked this hotel months and even though it was obviously a family they put the rooms in completely different part of the hotel and when I complained they were not in anyway helpful, I know that I should have put this in writing at the original booking time but did not which made the management completely uninterested in trying to sort it out . We have stayed at the hotel before but will not again, it is a beautiful building but the service is not up to what is being charged

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our family room was enormous and very luxuriously decorated. The breakfasts each morning were fabulous and all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed for a weekend with our 2 children and had a really special time. Quite often children are made to feel like an inconvenience, but it was quite the opposite here. All the little touches, like the tuck boxes, table football, social hour with beer, wine, soft drinks and ice cream went down extremely well with us all.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and comfortable with the staff being friendly and natural. Only negative (in the opinion of our daughter) was no nutella at breakfast - but I think the amazing hot chocolate almost made up for that!!
A beautiful building that has been thoughtfully furnished and filled with an abundance of plants and the most amazing fragrance (which I understand is used across all the Kimpton hotels).
Great location for the city's museums and shopping centre, and only a few minutes walk from a tram stop.
Would love to come and stay again another time.

What a gorgeous hotel! The whole place is visually stunning from floor to ceiling. Our room was beautiful, the lovely high ceilings and huge windows made it feel so open and the 2 armchairs were a very welcome addition to the room, Kids loved the tuck box treats. Social hour in the Post Room was fab, extremely generous too, offering us additional drinks and ice creams after we’d finished our first which I wasn’t expecting! The kids found a ping pong table and jenga and table football while they were exploring. The only thing that made me sad was the fact that I didn’t see the option to have a plant in the room until we were checking out - which means we’ll just have to stay again! Easy walk to the Science and Industry Museum/Castlefield Viaduct and Factory International which is what we were in Manchester for, directly opposite Manchester Oxford Road Station. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast service 10/10 would definitely recommend this hotel.
