We had asked via email for a first floor room as my husband is on oxygen. The response was , “thank you for letting us know” as there were no elevators. When we were told that the first floor was up 2 flights of stairs. When I asked I was told that was the first floor. When we got to the room, the carpet was old and stained, the window was open with no screen and the fan was on, and the roomed wreaked of cat urine. When I told the manager all she could say was, “ there have been no cats in that room.” My sister and family all agreed the odor was very unpleasant and smelled like cat urine. The bed was hard with very thin cheap pillows. The breakfast was wonderful, with pastries and English breakfast and the server was very nice. Location was close to buses and transportation. I would not stay there again.

We were in London for a few days and needed somewhere central to stay. You could go for a chain but we wanted to give this place a try. Excellent decision.
Really lovely quiet part of the city. Easy to find and checkin was simple: we had a first floor room for a family of 4. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It had a sort of faded glory about it. Far nicer than a modern chain: the breakfast was excellent. Check out was easy.
For the location the price was really good. We will def go back when next in that part of town.

We stayed for my son’s 9th Birthday whilst visiting the usual tourist attractions.
We arrived early and asked if they could hold our bags until we eventually got back late. Our bag was in the room which was spacious enough for a family of 4, 2 comfortable double beds, bit of dust and carpeting needs updating but not bad for the price. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cereals, continental and full English breakfasts.
Most importantly the staff were lovely. Very kind, helpful and couldn’t help us enough. Great visit.

Located in a great district, the Arofsa hotel was a great place to spend a day in London. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was not extravagant, but had a good rasher of eggs, bacon, beans, sausage, and toast, plus continental goodies. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great hotel for our family trip to london for 2 nights. Very central, walking distance to 2 undergrounds depending on which line you want.
We stayed in a family room downstairs. We had worried it would be a bit noisy wjth staff walking past but to be fair we hardly heard them. The room itself was big enough for the 4 of us, clean, good bathroom with a nice shower. Any down sides I would say that the corners of the room are in need of a lick of paint but thats just next to an external wall.
Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good, we had buffet and cooked breakfast included in our deal.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend and we would stay again!

We had a family room with two comfortable double beds and a renovated bathroom. Architectural details have been preserved in this hotel, and the couple who are the managers were lovely. Breakfasts surpassed any complementary hotel breakfast we have had, with a full English breakfast on offer daily, as well as homemade pies and desserts, even smoked mackerel!
