I stayed here for one night with a family member. I booked a twin room which hadn't been noted but was quickly and easily changed by the receptionist who could not have been nicer nor more welcoming, friendly or helpful - really excellent. Staff were also very good on checkout and a member of bar staff got our bags for us to save us joining a long queue of people checking in when we returned to get our bags on the way to the station - very much appreciated. The hotel was perfectly located for us, very close to the station, city centre, hospital and universities but was surprisingly peaceful as pedestrianised outside. Building stylish and well appointed. Bar & restaurant looked very nice though we did not use them. I would have liked breakfast to be included as the room rate was not inexpensive. Minor disappointment was that the only bedroom window looked onto the inside of a high brick parapet only about a foot from the window, which gave the grey room a bit of a depressing feel. Overall very good and the location, stylish building and excellent staff make this a very good place to stay.

First room was a junior suite, it was terrible coffee pods all had finger holes in them, shower fell off the wall, plugs smashed on appliances toiletries had been used and left! Marks all over the towels it’s was a shocker of a room! The did move us to another suite which was much better though

Beautiful hotel, very modern, spacious rooms. Shower- amazing! Perfectly located as attached to a centre with many restaurants. Big QPark car park. Was perfect for our family and trip away.

Unfortunately this hotel had no pool, we only found out on arrival. Very misleading to say the least as I had booked this hotel purposefully for the pool to enjoy with the kids. Apparently access to the pool was for adults only and had a premium of £8 to use, this was not clear on booking. Certainly not good value to say this is supposed to be a four star hotel standard. We definitely looked forward to the pool. Once checked in, we were given a double bed for the three of us (one adult and two kids 10 & 13) this was very disappointing not even an extra bed was provided in this very small room so I returned to the reception. They apologised and offered another room with two single beds when I asked whether the two single beds would accommodate 3 people they said no. In the end they offered us a room with two single beds and an extra bed to be added. Not the best of sleeps on a fold out bed but at least we got a bed each! The best feature of the hotel was the central location and being close by to nice restaurants.
