Bridge Hotel

Check in good, was made a complementary latte, attending a family party so wasn’t in the room long. Booked a room must of been an old one as usually have the more modern, but room was 70s didn’t use bath as had a lot of rust and shower was small head so couldn’t be bothered, all in all still paid over £120 with breakfast was good bacon and sausage of good quality mushrooms tinned not like previous, same breakfast chef as previous visits but scrambled eggs were salty, all in all will book better room next time

We picked this hotel due to location, price and reviews but felt we had been hoodwinked a little. It's great for a quick convenient stay but not great for families, we found the rooms to small, beds uncomfortable and noisy due to thin walls. The restaurant was basically the bar area. Which again was not nice to eat with kid's. Food was ok and room was tidy. The best way to describe it would be it's a premium inn from about 15 year's ago. Wouldn't stay again with family but would it I was on my own.

Warm and helpful staff Thanks to Andrew for helping to make it more pleasurable. We had initially planned to stay for two days but then needed to stay an additional day but when we booked this it was a different room type to ours. Andrew was able to sort this out so we remained in the same family room at no additional cost and with a complimentary free family breakfast for the extra day.

Great hotel for family with kids. Friendly staff and great parking facilities. For a London hotel, this was very fair value vs the the room sizes etc. Limited choice for breakfast but still sufficient

This place was COMPLETELY different from the pictures on Expedia. It should be a 2-star hotel at a MAX. The rooms looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. False advertising. I couldn't believe Expedia would allow this sort of thing on their website. They didn't have any still water in the whole building, not even for sale. When we brought this up to Expedia, the manager told them we should drink from the bathroom sink lol. The carpets were filthy with stains. The heater didn't work. They had a mobile heater that also didn't work. Once we turned on the AC to try to get the heater to start, we started getting a leak in the bathroom floor. The bathroom door didn't close. When we flushed the toilets, it smelled like sewage. They didn't have an outlet converter in the entire hotel. The reception room looked nothing like the pictures. They have pictures of nicely decorated and modern rooms; IT IS A LIE. Their rooms are old. When we communicated this to Expedia, they did absolutely NOTHING for us. I spent over 2 hours on an international call. They kept hanging up on us and they gave ZERO resolution. We had 3 rooms for 3 nights and it was the day AFTER CHRISTMAS! Needless to say, we will not be booking anything else with Expedia and will advise all our family and friends about the situation as well. Expedia should be ashamed of themselves.

The room was ok not big enough for 2 children and 2 adults as it was 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed kids couldn't fit on the sofa bed. Curtails were broken i had to ask the receptionist to get them fixed. Shower was so slow it took for rever to shower. The cold water pressure was high but hot water pressure was very low and the tap leaked on the floor so i had to put towels on the floor. Its a lovely hotel overal.
