The Hotel Chester

Absolutely amazing stay! We stayed in the flamingo room and it was lovely, spacious and had everything you would need! The only problem I had was when the window was open there was a generator noise booting up every 2 minutes, while this was annoying I just put white noise on my phone to drown it out and slept like a baby! The bath was a lovely addition to the room and the bed was extremely comfy. The bathroom was a great size and lovely and clean and the kitchenette was perfect for the short stay! Also, the car park is seconds away so no worries about parking. It’s in the best area possible. Staff were lovely!

The room was nice, but our one night stay was pretty awful. The room was dangerously hot and there was nothing we could do about it. We turned off radiators, opened windows, and had the A/C running, but the room is next to the chimney and above the fireplace in the lobby, so it just radiates heat everywhere. We visited with our infant baby. It was so hot that none of us slept. We learned that other guests have complained about this before. The person at the front desk informed us of this at checkout and said that next time we stay we'll get a discount, but we won't be back. Also, the bathroom isn't private at all. The door to the toilet/shower has a gap in it because it's really designed to be a shower door, not one to a room. Likewise, there's a catwalk to the parking garage directly across from the windows of the Knightsbridge room, so you can't have the curtains open unless you want to be stared at by people stepping out for a smoke break or passing by. Overall, wouldn't recommend this place or ever stay there again.

Fantastic stay in The Treehouse. Wonderful apartment, perfect for a family weekend. Rhiannon and Oliver were simply lovely, couldn’t have done more for you. Professional, warm and welcoming. 10/10 stay.
