No options of earlier check in, no asking if could help with storing bags, no drinks offered… not if had too but could have been more caring rather than wait till 3pm. Could see this when if we’d listened then others weee given rooms at 2.30 and all rushed to counters. Could have been great to be called when ready like in a restaurant with a text or email. We’re told at reception “we have upgraded younfrom a superior to an executive”…. Then minutes later “oh no we aren’t, as you have 4 in room and our upgrade if only for 3 people??!?)”. Such a shock for family that were over moon as we stay in Novotel in France and uk, thought a reward but ends up a punishment. No times for breakfast given No WiFi info provided Called reception 3 times and just cuts off Sofa Bed not made in room and had to wait for housekeeping Room dated with lumpy wallpaper No air con controls Positives Lovely big bed and comfy Surprisingly good sofa bed too Car park underneath 15 minutes to bullring walking Fridge and safe in room Good… just some bits could have made it excellent. Pity

The property is located in a very good and strategic location. I love the fact that they had kids area at the reception where the kids could stay and do their thing. My kids love it. Very lovely ambience and friendly staff. Spacious room, the bathroom is separated from the bowel room which makes it so perfect for family. I sure will be coming back

We arrived at the hotel late and were greeted by someone who was very helpful and told us we had been upgraded to the executive room. We went to our room and straight away the smell in the room was vile and it is all very outdated. The light didn't work so we were moved to another 'executive' room and it was just as bad. The remote control was dirty, the smell in the corridor was horrible and the bathroom and bedroom all needed a good clean. Do not stay here if you are going with little ones, there was a wedding that played loud music till very late and you can't keep the windows open because of the night life. Gutted I spent so much money to stay here - I would have rather spent a bit more and stayed somewhere worth the price.

It was great Very pleased with the kids play area and free gifts for kids. Reception were a tiny bit slow to answer the WhatsApp and only gave us one blanket when we asked for two. But it was generally very good indeed. The room was super.
