I absolutely adore this hotel! For some reason, my children and I always feel like we're returning home whenever we stay here. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, allowing us to truly be ourselves. I've had the pleasure of staying here multiple times and have already made plans to return next year.
There was some initial confusion regarding our room, which left me a bit disappointed. However, Elaine (I hope I spelled her name correctly) went above and beyond to help us, which was truly appreciated. Although the issue was only resolved a day later, I must emphasize that this remains my favorite hotel. I've stayed in some of the most luxurious accommodations around the world, yet I always find myself comparing my experiences to this one.
I also want to mention Stefan, the restaurant manager. He consistently goes the extra mile to ensure guests feel comfortable and does his best to fulfill their wishes. His sense of humor, wit, and efficiency make him a joy to be around. Our breakfast experiences were truly memorable thanks to his efforts.
I can't wait to return to this hotel for another wonderful stay!

Wouldn’t recommend. We stayed at the new wing and the description states it is a city view room. However, we were given a room facing a construction site which was unpleasant and noisy. When we reported this to the receptionist we were told that none of the rooms in this new wing have a city view and it is Expedia’s fault for incorrectly advertising it, which was disappointing given we paid a premium for these rooms. None of the parties have taken responsibility or refunded us. The room cleaning was not up to the mark. One towel was provided for 3 people, soap and body lotion not refilled, toilet seat not very clean, flush kept running, baby cot not set up despite reminding multiple times. Not a 5 star in any shape or form. The breakfast was very bad. No fresh juice, and the coffee was from a coffee vending machine, the saltiest omelette possible, barely any vegetarian or vegan options. The white elephant restaurant onsite was the only nice thing about this property. We were charged extra city tax for our infant which on pointing out they said their accounting team will refund the next day, never happened. At checkout they separately added breakfast cost to our bill which was already included in the room price. It took them a while to sort it out and then they charged us for a drink from the mini bar which we did not even touch. Took a lot of unpleasant discussion at checkout. I asked them for a compensation for all the hassle, they gave me a 17 CHF off from 1500 I paid! Joke

I gave the front desk my credit card for all incidentals when I checked in. Since it’s late in the evening I ordered room service and the delivery lady asked me for my credit card again and charged it. The following evening we went to the bar and asked them to charge it to my room. Later that night the bar tender was knocking on our door and asked for my credit card again. I said the front desk has a copy of my credit card but he asked for my card yo be charged. The third night we went to bed early and was awakened by phone calls from the front desk. By the time we woke up, someone was banging on our door and tried yo open it. So my wife called the front desk and asked the reason for this disturbance, by now we’re all up and couldn’t go back to sleep, We checked out first thing in the morning. I was furious about this whole incident. We are Marriott Gold Elite members and were treated like this while on family vacation. Front desk people need to be retrained on customer service and common courtesy or just plain common sense which obviously is not common nowadays. Marriott better do something about this! I am freaking furious and have to apologize to my family.

We stayed in a suite with club lounge access. The lounge was great and the customer service was good as well. However our room smelled like an ashtray. They masked the smell with spray when we checked in so we did not smell it until an hour later. We contacted the front desk and notified them at which point they sent someone to come spray more which does not solve the problem just masks it for an hour. They then brought a room ventilator which they must use in the restaurant because it immediately made the room smell like food. My family and I suffered from congestion and allergies the entire stay and it was extremely unpleasant considering none of us smoke. Very disappointed that they assigned this room to begin with and even more disappointed that they didn’t care to do anything about it. When I asked if it was a nonsmoking room they said “yes of course and we charge very expensive fee but people still smoke” Would not stay here nor recommend to non smokers.

It is a Marriott, so you can expect all those high quality services and excellent hospitality, etc. We particularly liked size of the room we stayed in. We travel a lot and one gripe we have in European countries hotel is that it is super small. But this hotel, we had two comfortable size beds, but still has enough space and organized closet spaces. Good breakfast as well. Close to the main train station was a plus!! Good amenities in bathroom as well. Overall, our family enjoyed staying here for our Swiss trip.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Was offered an upgrade to a suite for the whole family which included all breakfasts, car parking and use of the Executive Club. This worked out better than paying for car parking and breakfast separately. The Executive Club was open 24 hours with buffet breakfast (hot and cold), drinks and snacks available 24 hours and all was included in the price. The room was very comfortable with an excellent view over Zurich. This hotel made our stay in Zurich (and was the best of all the hotels we stayed in on Switzerland over 12 days). The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main shopping street by the main railway station and about 5-10 minutes from the old part of the city. Very highly recommended.
