Europe Playa Marina

We had paid extra for a superior room with a sea view - this was not the case with room 607 which we were allocated. We upgraded to a junior suite for 4 days - extra cost 284 euros, and then had to transfer to another room 519, for our final night. This room was fine - why could we not have been allocated this room or similar for all five nights. This was very disappointing although the staff were helpful and tried to sort things out. It needs to be made much clearer about the type of room you will be allocated - some are definitely much better than others.

So things that were great: the cleaning, the view, the shower, the breakfast, the Rocky beach, the view, the staff! I travelled alone and stayed here for a few days, I chose this hotel bc I didn't want to travel far to beaches as I don't drive. Beside the amazing Rocky beach where u can snorkel, the hotel is close to three other sandbeaches in the neighbourhood. Quiet place with more adults/couples than big families. A few resturants nearby and a couple of Supermarkets. The hotel had very nice lunch options as well, dinner wasn't available bc of covid unfortunately. Bus nr 4 goes regularly from outside the hotel to palma and takes 30min. Can't complain of anything really. The guys in the reception helped me out a lot during my stay.

This hotel is more suited to adults than children because access to the tiny beach is by steps. For a beach holiday you would have to travel each day. There is a bus stop and taxi rank very close. If you have a car, parking is scarce so I paid for the secure private carpark approxiamately 100 metres away.You use a remote control for access. Meals are buffet style,lots of choice and good quality. The tv had one English speaking channel-Russia Today. Mostly Spanish and German. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and we have recommended to family and friends who have also stayed. It is a fresh, bright and very clean hotel. We always stay in the rooms that face the private beach and you can hear the waves gently hitting the rocks and beach as you lay in your bed at night with the balcony door open. The breakfast buffet is excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for us, as bus stops and taxis are with in easy walking distance, making travelling Palma, Palma Nova or the airport very to get to. There are also classy bars and restaurants again with easy walking distance.

Very nice place, quite and well situated. Lovely views. Very good breakfast selection and service. Wi fi in rooms nonexistant. Bus service to and from Palma right in front and long service. Worth staying. Won't go with little ones, not much to do for children.
