Garden Court Eastgate

The day before arriving we had phoned to confirm our bookings, 4 rooms for family & friends. We had requested that all 4 rooms be close to each other. On arrival we again requested the above & were told that all 4 rooms were close to each other. Once everyone checked in... one of the families were placed on the 4th level while the other 3rooms were on 3rd level. He booked a table for dinner for 14 people for 19h30 on 31st Dec. Then the waitress, Zodwa, came to us at 18h00 by the pool side & said that we had to book our starters & mains in advance but that dessert we could choose after having our mains. The service at the restaurant was terrible. We were the only table being served & both Zodwa & Michael were unprofessional. We weren't asked for drinks... our starters just arrived covered with clean wrap😳 Our drinks only arrived around 20h40... & sone drinks didn't even arrive. I had to go to the bar to get waters for the kids... Some of the main meals were reheated in the microwave as the chicken & steaks were overdone & very dry. We then askedabout dessert at around 21h15 & were told thatthe kitchen was closed & that couldn't hae dessert☹ We asked for cappuccinos & Cafe lattes which were terrible... When asking waitress for something she would just walk off... Both Zodwa & Michael were disinterested in serving us. We were shocked at the poor, unprofessional & disinterested service we received. Did voice our disappointment with the receptionist & she did apologize...

Lovely accomodation to stay in SA with family. The buffet at breakfast is very good. Thank you
