African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel, Autograph Collection

The African Pride Hotel is extraordinarily beautiful! I loved my stay there! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic! I will recommend the African Pride to all of my family and friends.

This trip was my 1st solo experience and I must say I had an amazing time. Mr. Dingaan made sure my trip went smoothly and took the extra mile to ensure I had the most amazing experience. Mr. Dingaan was an absolute delight and I'm very thankful our path encounter. He was the highlight of my trip. I can't thank him enough. Also, all the other hotel staff I encounter was very kind in helpful. From Ms. Pretty at the Front Desk, The waitress Tanya, and many more names I cant recall. I hope to visit again one day soon. I will refer this hotel to my friends and family who plans to visit South Africa in the near future.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating; in fact, they are absolutely amazing. The property is beautiful and nicely appointed. However, I was disappointed with my double room, which consisted of two twin beds. They where child size beds and simply not acceptable for a Marriott property. Nevertheless, I would stay again. Oh! The food at this property is awesome!!

What a wonderful stay I had at this hotel, just one week ago! I visited while on business in Johannesburg and decided to make the journey along with my husband and three children in tow. African Pride did everything right, from the moment we arrived until we departed! In advance, we booked a family arrangement (two rooms that shared a common hallway and door). And there wasn't a single thing that we ever wanted for, while occupying them! My two sons, nine and seven, were pleasantly surprised to arrive to a boys guest room that was kitted out in batman decor, with kid friendly snacks on the table, and their most prized room feature, a Playstation, hooked up to their television! Thanks to Reception Manager, Sharon, for handling this and our other many demands! Plus for business, when I needed to send a fax, the hotel did so within minutes and without hesitation. When something needed to be printed and distributed to other guests, they did so immediately! On top of this, they welcomed our 17 month old daughter with open arms! Requests for milk came within minutes, and on our final day, they brought her the cutest lion stuffed animal, accompanied with the sweetest note, encouraging her to remember her visit to African Pride. And flowers for me, seriously, can this hotel be anymore wonderful!?! I will only stay at African Pride, when I come to Johannesburg! Thanks for the amazing experience!
