Very good hotel and accessible from Haraam, lot of dinning options nearby. Excellent breakfast. Although my room washroom was very small as compared to other 5 Star hotels i booked so far and seems not to be maintained properly. Other than that over all experience was excellent. Specially kids corner in breakfast for the kids:

I arrived at this property early but the reception staff did their best to get me checked in early and get me a room. Roos was good with 3 twin beds. Beds were comfy and had refrigerators, locker, coffee/tea, TV and the best was that you could hear Azan and namaz from haram. This property is only five mins from Haram and it is connected to the clock tower. Reception, bell staff, housekeeping staff were courteous. Breakfast service was good with plenty of options, and they also had a separate breakfast set just for kids. I would stay again with family.

The swissotel is the best place to stay for everything you could ever need in Makkah! My family and I stayed for 3 nights here and we had such a pleasant and simple experience with amazing staff, facilities, and services available absolutely everywhere. It’s so close and walkable to the Kabah. I will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to everyone!!

We had a 6 night stay in Swissotel Makkah with 2 adults and 3 little children. The whole stay was amazing. The staff at the front desk was always so professional and helping towards their guests. After checking in we wanted to change our room to a higher floor with a better view of Makkah city and Sanna at the reception desk was amazing and accommodated right away to our request. If anyone wishes to stay at Swissotel Makkah make sure to ask for Sanna at checkin or for any help during the stay. She was amazing! The cleaning staff was always helpful and made sure our room, bathroom, and bed sheets stayed clean during the whole duration of our stay. They would even change our sheets everyday and give us new towels everyday. We had breakfast buffet included in the price and each day we enjoyed the buffet to the max. They had options for all taste buds and cravings. They had a omelette station, fresh bread making station and fresh pancakes. Everything on the buffet was always fresh and delicious. We would highly recommend Swissotel Makkah as it is really close to the Haram and easily accessible to food, shopping, and near by areas.

We stayed as family of five at the end of august in two rooms with kaba view. Check in was fairly ok as it’s always busy you just have to be patient and wait. The keys to the doors were not working so we had to queue up a few times to sort it out. The wifi wasn’t great! It was a mission to get through to someone on the phone when you needed any help with the reception. The breakfast had a lot of variety but only had Arabic options with the most of the food.so we ended up not going or just had yogurt and toast when we did. Even if you stick the light on for cleaning since in the morning, you come back in the evening and the room still wasn’t been cleaned. The rooms are very small and not got much space to put your suitcases and to walk around. On the plus side The view to kaba is amazing MashaAllah. And I think this might be the only hotel which will have this view coz of lot of work going on. And the location is brilliant, very close to haram and it’s got two different entrances you can go to haram from. Overall if you don’t mind the non existent service then it’s a good hotel coz of the location.

I booked 2 x Junior Suite, Multiple Beds (Haram) via Hotels.com Upon arrival we found that we only had a single King Bed in each suite, I had paid extra to make sure we had 2 King Beds as we had 3 adults and a child in each bedroom. We also had a disabled guest who had no mobility and we requested that we are given a accessible room. The entrance to both bathrooms was to narrow for the wheelchair and there was no rails in either bathroom. When I queried these two issues with reception they were unhelpful and blamed Expedia for allowing me to book a room specification they do not offer. I provided receipts of what I paid for but again this dismissed it and said it was not their fault. The staff need training and should understand if a customer has paid for a service this should be fulfilled, they need to take the issue up with Expidea/Hotels.com
