Very well located hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent service and a nice coffee area to sit with your family after a day of walking.

This was a great boutique hotel with spacious rooms and tub in our double-twin room. Although not ultra-luxurious, the rooms were spacious and clean. The central location and unique, Amsterdam feel of the building, views, and rooms was exactly what we wanted and needed. Great for visiting the theatre, museums, Ann Frank House, canals, and downtown via walking. Can take the tram everywhere else. The price was very reasonable, allowing us to book a first night so the room and awesome breakfast was ready and waiting for us when we arrived at 8 am after an overnight flight. Loved it! Would definitely bring our family and stay here.

The hotel is in an old canal-side building with a lot of character. This means that it's a bit of a rabbit-warren inside, but that is part of its charm. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were well appointed and clean. The location is ideal, near many shops and restaurants (but was never noisy), as well as the museum district and southern/western canals. The decor was slightly tired but far from shabby. Overall, this is a great choice for individuals or families looking to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Amsterdam.

We had such a nice stay at this hotel. It's not a luxury hotel but is clean, and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable (a few blocks from the Rijksmuseum, and the tram stops right outside the front door). The service was so friendly and professional. We had 2 rooms: one for a single guest with a beautiful view of the canal. And one with 3 beds for a family...with no view (a low floor courtyard) but it was spacious. The air conditioning REALLY worked in both rooms. That's not always the case with every European hotel that claims to have AC. The breakfast had a lot of delicious options and a freshly squeezed orange juice machine. The coffee machine near the dining room is available to guests around the clock. But the breakfast staff makes an even better coffee. Top-notch. Best of all was the staff: Ivan, Snejana, and Bruno. They handled every request in a friendly and professional manner. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs. During our visit, there was major construction going on for a luxury hotel next door so check in advance. But we didn't experience any disturbing noise. I would definitely book this hotel again.
