The Sheraton Maria Isabel was a good choice for our stay in CDMX. It is centrally located in a tourist and business area so you will be within walking distance or a short ride away from many of the city's main attractions. The hotel itself is well maintained and prides itself on excellent service. From the bell hop to our in room service, the staff was always attentive and receptive to our needs. We had a medical emergency and the hotel was able to help us locate in room medical attention in a speedy manner. The dining was delicious and fresh throughout our stay as well. The only blemish in our experience was the pool. We were traveling with our family and we were looking to enjoying the pool during the hot weather. Unfortunately, the pool is 6 feet deep all around and not suitable for younger or beginner swinmmers. It would be helpful if the hotel would disclose this in their website listing so families can plan accordingly.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the maps and description/prices on tours found in rooms. We upgraded our stay to include the Reforma Ave. tower and we had a direct view of "Angel de Independencia," it was very NICE! The upgraded price included the "Club Lounge" access, however we weren't super impressed with price and description, a bit misleading. While the staff at club lounge are very friendly (Mr. Jose was amazing) and breakfast was good again the downfall came at the "all day snacks" super disappointing they had warm sodas and water, various fruit options, and peanuts/"churritos" mix and cookies. They kind of make up with subpar snacks with happy hour appetizers but need to make a little more kid friendly menu options or items that match the corona and white/red wine option. The pool needed to be cleaned (you couldn't see the "Sheraton" logo at all. The pool hours are 7am-7pm and if traveling with children it just doesn't seem feasible. Kids as adults like to sleep in or get back from excursions late so the hours and depth being more than 5 ft deep (1.60 meters) isn't very kid/family friendly.

It is a great Sheraton property located right next to the Angel monument. There are many restaurants in the area, plus, a Turibus stop is right across the street.
If you travel in winter, be aware that the hotel AC is built for cooling, not heating. The hotel offers portable heaters if you need one. The AC does not heat the air.
The bathroom lacks towel hooks and racks. There is not even one towel hook in the bathroom, you put your towel on the commode or you can hang it on the shower door or a door stopper. It may be a challenge if you travel as a family of 3-4 people.

My family and I stay at the Sheraton every time we go to Mexico City. We always recommend it to family and friends when planning their trip to Mexico City.
Some of the items I will point out are the cleanliness, the service overall (the staff is always nice and willing to bring you anything you want), the location (very safe we love that it is in front of el Angel and that it is surrounded by people selling food), and the breakfast (love the vegetarian options and the Mexican breakfast).
Thank you for making our stay pleasant every time.

The staff were amazing, friendly and always willing to help! The hotel was clean, sheets were clean, comfortable beds. However, in the pictures the pool looked much larger then what it was. The pool was too small and too deep to even enjoy it with kids. For such a beautiful hotel I expected a large pool. But overall If I had to come back to this hotel I would do it.

Wonderful experience! Great location, next to Starbucks, ShakeShack and local restaurants. We had a suite which was a double room- sofa bed, kind bed and two full baths. The room had a wonderful view. The club lounge for breakfast and happy hour was a great surprise. Pool was small but great for a quick dip. Would recommend for families!
