This property is quiet and family friendly. The service at the pool bar was exceptional. The one thing I did not like was that Mayra came up to us and offered “free drinks” and “intercontinental breakfast” if we spoke with someone the following day about “vacation” packages for about 45 minutes. Come to find out it was a timeshare proposal that cost almost 30 thousand dollars! We felt pressured and took almost half our day from 9am-1pm. We got two fifty minute massages which were great but not worth the waste of time. The store onsite is ridiculously overpriced for eggs and other food items. I think at one point we paid $6.00 for a pack of M&M’s. Overall the stay was beautiful but the TimeShare option was horrible. Next time Marya needs to be honest and upfront about what the presentation really is and not label as “vacation” packages

The resort facilities were great. All the staff were exceptional. I just wish there were shortcuts to the beach from the rooms. But overall great family experience and top notch hotel and amenities. This is the only resort, hote.I would recommend if you have a large group of people Thanks Club Regina.

Room is a little outdated, but the view of what I thought was the property is great. Turns out, that view is what is now Westin. Westin and Raintree split the property with a fence. So we had no access to our pool. We had to go all the way through the lobby to get to the other 2 pools which were dirty.
The Club Regina side is getting run down and out dated. Drinks were mediocre at best. So we had the Westin poolside waiters pass better drinks over the fence. Broken room lock so kids stranded outside at midnight. Mistake with money exchange. Things happen, but management didn't seem to care about anything. The working staff are great though. Very friendly and accommodating.

The resort grounds were absolutely beautiful! Rooms were extremely clean and the kitchenette came with everything we needed. Staff were always friendly although we made most of our meals, what we ordered food-wise was delicious. I would definitely recommend to friends and family

Property is perfect for families. I do not like how they moved the bar away from the pool area. It was nice to be able to eat and order from the bar in the pool like before, but separating the two doesn’t make sense. Also, moving the towel shack away from the pool is less convenient. Should have kept everything located where it was before.

My family and I just stayed at Club Regina for a week and had a great experience. The grounds are beautiful and clean, the staff was very attentive and friendly and the proximity to the marina restaurants was an added bonus (8min walk). The restaurant at the pool was so delicious, we consumed it daily. The breakfast at the restaurant was great - we opted for the buffet a few times, never ate dinner there though but heard good things. The pools were beautiful and the beach access was great! Plenty of lounge chairs at both. Although the studio we stayed in could use some updating, the rooms were super clean and beds were comfortable. We are already looking forward to booking another vacation at Club Regina.

We reserved, via Expedia, a room with an ocean view, a king bed and a sofa bed, in March 2024. We are a family of four including two teenagers. I knew this hotel offered suites with kitchenettes, but a kitchenette was not mentioned in our room’s description when I reserved, so we were nicely surprise when we got there. We actually got two rooms, each with its own TV, connected together with a door with a lock, with a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, a balcony with a jacuzzi and a dining table for four. We were very happy with this. We had rooms 780 and 781.
I saw other reviewers complain about this hotel being outdated, but I disagree. This is a classic hotel with timeless folkloric Mexican charm, full of beautiful Mexican sculptures. The furniture is high-quality, classic Mexican wooden furniture; the floor is Spanish tile. The lamps were modern. The upholstered furniture could use a replacement at some point but were fine. Everything worked perfectly.
The lobby is not really luxurious, but who cares? The pool area, however, is definitely luxurious. Absolutely beautiful. There are several pools with “islands” with tall palm trees. The entire pool area is full of gorgeous palm trees and gardens. The water is heated to a lukewarm temperature. There is a swim up bar. The drinks are better than in an all-inclusive. Try the mango margarita!
The hotel is right on the beach, and its private beach is beautiful and clean.
There were plenty of unoccupied lounge chairs everywhe

Very clean and safe even if slightly dated in some areas. Staff are friendly and approachable and you can easily walk around the nearby Marina and visit the Thursday night market and feel safe doing so with your family.
