Centralise and kids friendly environment.

When i check in, i was told that an upgrade was given. i enquire about the sofa bed that i wanted for my child and was told that it is in the upgraded room too. So i was not happy when i went into the bigger room and found there was only has a circular sofa. When i went down to find out from reception, i was told the type of room i wanted may not be ready. i was not given an option and i think it is not fair as i checked in at 6pm, how can the room be not ready? the room given was near to lift and facing main road. i could not sleep all night as the room has poor sound proofing. i can hear people walking and talking at the aisle. the noise of the traffic made it worst. The pool was congested and playroom is just a room with few sets of toys that most kids just walk away after a glance.

Kids happy with the waterpark, parent happy with the refurbished room. Shower area a bit cramp. Unable to enjoy much the breakfast as were bumped to exec lounge due to overcrowd. But it is ok for us. Staffs were super attentive and friendly. Didnt get their names but all of them are great in their job and services. Feel safe at waterpark area as there are alot of staff watching over the area to ensure kids playing nicely. It was raining drizzly and unable to enjoy their playground.

We checked in late. The staff member was very formal. We asked for late check out as our flight didn't leave before midnight the next day. She granted us check-out till 01.00pm. Later check out wasn't possible as they were fully booked. I checked online later and was still able to book rooms, so I felt she was lying. She said we weren't allowed to use the hotel facilities after check-out. I know that late check out is a service, not a given, but the overal conversation with the staff member really bothered me. Eventually we asked again the next morning and another staff member said it was no problem at all if we used the pool after check-out. I really appreciated that and it positively impacted my experience with this hotel. We had a suite with a day-bed for our 4-year old daughter. Room was recently renovated, but already things were broken. The closets doors wouldn't close properly (leaving the light on inside). The shower door wouldn't close properly, so the bathroom floor was wet. Very thin windows, so lots of traffic noise. A problem when you are a light sleeper. Breakfast is beyond perfect. Many options and very delicious. Nice pool. I missed a bar/pool with a view over the city. Very good lunch. Great location, within walking distance of the Petronas towers. Restaurant staff is extremely friendly. Lobby staff was very formal and didn't feel friendly. Not a very suitable hotel for children.

Amazing hotel in the CBD with great facilities for kids. The executive suite was very spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The club access provided parents with an area for children to have a full meal (complimentary) and activities in the evening while parents enjoy the club floor drinks/canapés. The staff at the Renaissance are fabulous! I was very impressed with Aishya in the kids club who was so kind and patient with my very shy 4 year old. Equally, I was incredibly impressed with the check in and check out process with Nazrul who was very personable, accommodating and kind. My only complaint was that the road noise from the suite facing the KL tower was loud and I found it very difficult to sleep. My children were fine as they area deep sleepers. If you’re a light sleeper then I’d request a room with a pool view instead.
