Hotel Universal Port

Loved our stay here! We stayed in a room with 4 beds with ocean view. Spacious enough for family of four with two teenagers. City Walk and JR station is just a few min away and very convenient location for getting around. We took airport limousine bus from Itami Osaka airport which was 40 min ride. Bus stop was 9min walk from the hotel and we could easily walk even with super large luggage. Highly recommend for family.

Lovely hotel, great for families visiting Universal studios, convenient location

Excellent hotel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was equipped with a shower and bath. In addition to regular amenities, complimentary bubble bath was provided which is a fun touch for kids. Features like the first floor's fish tank and the elevator area's jellyfish domes are also fun for kids. From the hotel, it is a short walk to Universal Studios, the touristy restaurant area, and the train station. Aside from USJ, there is nothing much to see in the immediate area, but the hotel is only a few stops from the Osaka Loop Line which connects to all the major spots. Getting to the hotel from Kansai by train is a bit of a hassle, but there is an easy to use bus that stops at the far end of USJ that is really convenient. The walk from the bus stop to the hotel is a far lesser hassle than navigating all the train transfers with many suitcases and the ride is quick, comfortable, and easy if you check a Youtube tutorial first.

Property is beautiful and fun for kids. My kids absolutely loved the minions Easter theme. We stayed on a deluxe floor the one with the fake jelly fish. We were told it was a good floor but it was just okay. Nothing special. Nonetheless we loved it as it was a short 3 minute walk to Universal, the train station and Citywalk. Would stay again!

This hotel had it all! It was conveniently located by transportation and a 3-5 minutes walk to USJ. They had multiple dining options within the hotel and the food was delicious at the restaurant, bar and cafe. They had a gift shop and spa that was also a plus. You could buy your tickets for USJ in the hotel. The staff was welcoming and made sure you had an excellent experience. I definitely recommend staying at the Universal Port Hotel. It was a 10/10 for my family and I.

Slightly more catered for Japanese than foreigners, and really geared to younger families. No food services, including room service, after 10pm. Within 600m there is a Lawsons and 711 that stay open till 11pm. Hotel itself is clean and really practical. Value for money.

Next to Universal Studios Osaka, so super convenient. Train station also adjacent,and shops. Extremely friendly staff, and cute Minions everywhere for the kids, although my husband also loved them. Very nice place overall.

Great place to stay with family when visiting Universal Studios Japan!

Very convenient access to JR station and to universal park. Just a cross the street. Rooms were clean and was roomy enough for a family of 4. Perfect for our quick 2 night stay in Osaka.

My family and I loved how it was a short walk to Universal Studios Japan and how cleam everything was. The service was really top quality.
