We had made reservations for 3 people (2 adults and a child) for a superior room. The superior room, per Expedia sleeps 3 people and per reservation, the hotel considers any guest as an adult. Upon checkin however, we were told that we can’t stay in the superior room and have to pay 200 euros each night extra for an upgraded room and blamed this on Expedia. This was completely inconsistent with our reservation. The hotel itself was great and centrally located and the staff were very nice.

Beautiful property with hospitable and welcoming staff. Safe, extremely clean and beautiful. My family will only stay here when we visit Florence.

I travel around the world non stop. This is the first review I have left in a long time.
The service was world class. The concierge team took such good care of me, the cleaning crew, the doorman, the breakfast staff…everyone made me feel at home.
My room was perfect. I booked a junior suite and received an upgrade to the biggest room in the hotel.
The location is perfect.
I will definitely stay here during my next trip to Florence.

The location and staff were amazing. Just steps from so many major sites in Florence! A good breakfast to start each day was available. We had two teenage children with us and the family room gave us the right amount of space. I would stay here again!

Helpful staff, great dinner recommendations! Ask for Lorenzo’s family restaurant, walking distance across Ponte Vecchio. Attention to detail is unmatched. Great breakfast.
