Libertel Montmartre Opéra

Our room wasn’t ready at check in, but we were given a key to our room. We when we arrived to our room later that evening, we found someone was already in our room. When we went to the front desk, they were unable to get us a family room and the next day they said we still owed for the room we did not use, which we had prepaid for. The man at the desk did not know how to reverse the charges for a room we did not have.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt on a 4 vs a 3.. We arrived at 7pm to a room that was probably 90 degrees F, trying to turn down the AC did nothing. It was cool out so I just figured I could open the window.. We changed clothes and went right out to Montmarte which was about a 10 minute walk. Came back after maybe one wine too many. Opening the window cooled off the room enough, but there was a LOT of noise. A nearby resident had their windows open I guess as we could hear a kid getting ready for school and talking VERY LOUDLY at 4:30am. Couldn't close the window because it would heat up too quickly.. The other issue we had, which might have been operator error, was that the TV kept coming on by itself about every hour. We were only there for the night so never brought these issues up to the desk. Room was clean, but small. Pretty convenient to Pigalle metro stop. May 2023..

Love that it was close to several dinning options and metro stations. If traveling with kids maybe not such a good idea to walk down the street by Moulin Rouge, lots of sex shops.

Lovely hotel and good location for family of 3.

Absolutely loved our stay. Although the room was small/cozy we were well rested. Rooms were well equipped and neat! Walking distance to many dining options, this was important for me, since I had my two kids. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
