Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, an IHG Hotel

Great 3-day family stay in two rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast for all ages in the family.

We had a rather terrible experience at Crowne Plaza. Lousy service. Dirty toilet seat and towels. We had to change room in the midnight because they had not put in an extra bed for our kid, as they had promised. We highly recommend not to choose this hotel.

Well where do I start. The Hotel have very friendly staffs, very professional and willing to help. Big Hotel, nice restaurant and bar. Checking in was ok, I arrive early on which I needed to wait on my room. No problem at all as I read the check-in/out details. Medium size room, nothing fancy. All sufficient for a good night rest. After inspecting the room, I notice long black hairs in the Bathtub, sink, some unattractive marks in the toilet and used dirty towels with hairs. It is a habit of mine to open all water taps, well that was something to remember as the water hose connected to the showerhead had a crack or maybe not properly secured. Ended up with an undesired cold-water shower. I have immediately reported it to the front desk, where I was rest assure it will be taken care asap. I decided to leave the room and give the Housekeeping space. When I came back after approx. 4 hours. The towels, showerhead and hairs in bathtub were indeed taken care but not the marks in the toilet and hairs in the sink. I ended up cleaning this myself, because there was no housekeeping present. Hahaha you can say it felt being at home.. yet it would much nicer if your guest are spare from cleaning someone else hair and skid marks. Night sleep could have been better, bit warm. You can expect this staying on the 24th floor with a black hotel on a great sunny day. AC had problem cooling down the room. Also here the staff help me out by lending an fan to make it more comfortable.
