External building wall of the hotel is broken. Upon check in at 5pm, we were informed that room was not ready and had to wait for 20 mins which was further extended. Eventually after reminding the front desk staff, we only got keys to our room at 6pm. Spoilt our 1-day family trip by so much waste of time. No staff in the hotel at all. Already raised this issue with Expedia while waiting to be checked in and awaiting offline feedback with resolution.

my experience was great from check in to check out. the hotel itself is relatively neat and clean except the surroundings outside the property. indeed family friendly rooms. overall, my hotel experience was awesome! kudos to one of the staff named fiona by the restaurant.

Booked with breakfast but they say I haven’t, I don’t know who’s wrong, only thing I know is I picked the room with breakfast included. So we were very unhappy about the reception desk woman on the 06 September 2023, because I especially mentioned the date, the receptionists on 4th & 5th were good. But the 6th receptionist was very rude. Room AC didn’t work properly and coffee machine also didn’t. Area is not suitable for families.

I came on a solo trip.. it was a good spot, not safe to walk at night, many homeless in the area. Close to public transit, close to everything. But also red light district. I would return by myself but maybe not with my family.

The wheelchair accessible bathroom was not accessible as advertised. There were no grab bars, the sick was high, and the toilet was the lowest i have ever seen - like suitable for small child.

We stayed there for a night as a family. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. The hotel sent assistance twice to help resolve the issue even at 1 am, however the unit had some issues. Apart from that it is centrally located to the old Port which we wanted to visit.

The hotel itself is alright. The photos make it look much nicer but it’s an average hotel in the end. Not great on eco-friendliness - they replaced all our towels despite them all being hung. As in, they’ll replace them no matter what, a bit of an outdated system in hotel service if you ask me. It was comfortable ans clean enough. The bathroom had some unpainted plastering, and hooks ans handles falling out. Valet parking is nice. The “bar” is like a Italian-style family restaurant attached to it but I can’t speak to its quality. Overall, good enough, considering where the hotel market is for cities.

The fact that the only parking available is paid valet parking would have been nice to know ahead of time. The facilities were alright but we didn't feel 100% comfortable as the hotel is in a strange area of Montreal, and the rooms were a bit dingy. We walked past a room with a smashed in door. It just felt a bit off-putting especially staying with small children.

We enjoyed our stay. I am a former Montrealer visiting my adult children who now live in old Montreal and my mom who lives in the suburbs. I brought my teen daughter and this was a great spot to explore downtown, China Town, Old Montreal, Gay Village etc. Difficult to find free street parking, but felt like I won a prize when I found a spot to leave the car for the weekend and enjoy our stay. I do not like indoor parking because of past negative experiences of theft and being 'locked in' to the lot behind other parked cars so I prefer to find a place on the street. Overall it was an as expected stay and would stay again any time of year but winter. In the winter I will find a hotel with easier parking on the metro line.
