Horrendous Experience at Castel Hotel Granby - Book a Cage, Not a Hotel! I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Castel Hotel in Granby, and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we entered the room, we were overwhelmed by a repulsive stench that seemed to permeate every inch of the place. The carpets and furniture were so old and worn-out, it felt like we stepped back in time. To make matters worse, the hotel's website presented a completely different picture compared to the dismal reality we encountered. The prices they charged for a two-night stay were exorbitantly high, considering the abysmal quality of the accommodations. We paid a shocking $440, including taxes, for a room supposedly fit for two adults and one child. When we approached the front desk for assistance, we were met with sheer incompetence. Despite our grievances, they were unable to offer any solutions or address our concerns adequately. It was clear that their staff lacked the necessary training and knowledge to handle customer issues promptly. To add insult to injury, we had booked an additional room for our friends who came with us, only to find that their experience mirrored ours. The same unpleasant smell, worn-out furnishings, and false claims made by the hotel were consistent across both rooms. Our attempts to discuss these concerns with the front desk staff turned into a two-hour ordeal, achieving nothing more besides a meager apology and a paltry comp

Prior to our stay i called the hotel to ask for a crib and they said no problem for 10$ and when we arrived it was a safeguard for a bed. Had I known I would have brought my baby’s pack and play. We hardly got any sleep because we never slept beside the baby before and the bedding is so rough and has a smell. We found chocolate under the bed when we pushed them together so he doesn’t fall and it just feels like a 2 stars motel. Would not stay here again.

The kids liked being able to swim and play at the playground but the room was not super clean and poorly stocked. No microwave. Limited toiletries (no conditioner), cheap linens and furnishings. Game room had 3 table games that were in poor condition and we had to buy our own ping pong ball. A decent 3 star motel but overpriced for what they provide.

I stayed in a 2 queen room Jan 26-28 2023 with my 10 and 12 year old. The purpose of our trip was to ski at Bromont. This is a really nice hotel option if you can't find a place in Bromont which was the case for us. Bromont is about 20-25 minutes from this hotel. Overall it was a great stay, friendly staff, nice breakfast (not always included depending on how you book the room) and other good dining options right at the hotel (Pub Parloir and Emulsions), and nice little games room for the kids. The hot tub is open year round which we took advantage of. On the downside I'd say that the beds certainly aren't the most comfortable I've slept in but not terrible. The rooms aren't particularly sound insulated either... we could hear the snow plows working quite easily from our room on the 2nd floor during the night. Overall a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is at a perfect location. They put in a lot of effort to keep families well and entertained. The staff was super friendly. The only reason I did not give a 5 star is because the rooms are very outdated. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable.
