This property had potential to be a nice experience, it is a beautiful location overlooking a lake with canada geese. The staff at the spa/pool area and the checkin clerk were friendly, the provision of bathrobes was a nive touch. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Negatives; the light fixtures in the bathroom were very dirty and 1 light was burnt out; the spa area was in disrepair (loose stones and grab bars, non functional waterfeatures, 2 broken tubs, 1 broken sauna. We received a strange automated call at 6am from the hotel which woke up the whole family. The managers response was "oh yeah we noticed thay has been happening lately". We would not stay here again.

It is a nice older resort. Stairs to your floor's which means packing your luggage…. More of a family atmosphere and less of a restful spa feel. The activities on site were enjoyable like kayaking and mini golf. Rooms were adequate.

Overall our stay was great, it is an older property undergoing renovations. The rooms are definitely NOT soundproof, we could hear everything in the hallways. Lots of kids roaming/running the hallways unattended. Lots of kids in the indoor pool and spa areas as well, so not what I recommend as relaxing spa experience…

The property was beautiful. The rooms were really nice. The internet wasn't great and there were no elevators. The restaurant on site was upscale and had foods that we normally wouldn't eat. Definately not for kids. The prices were high to. You had to make reservations the night before if you wanted to eat there, also there was no breakfast included which was a pain because we had to go out and eat every morning. The location was in a nice and quiet. It was on a lake which was nice but not many choices to eat in the area.

Rude service… kept on reminding us we booked with hotels.com… Restaurant was super expensive for portion kid size …. Fish and chips was 2 small kids size with rice!!!! Yikes!!!

Can improve directions for the entry/reception. Exceptionally calm and clean property. Fun activities to do at the property like mini golf, swimming pool, kayak, paddle boat. Can also play volley ball or soccer. Great place to be with family

I ended up getting my room at 7pm. Checking was at 4pm. The kids were tired and no one seems to care enough to get our rooms ready on time. The were overbooked for some reason:( We didn’t get a discount from the manager . This was a horrible experience. They should hire black people at the front desk instead of having them cleaning rooms or picking up the garbage. They always seems to be surprised to see black folks at this Hotel 🏨

Great family vacation. Located Near village Valcartier and Stoneham ski hill Great spa on site For the holidays They had great activities set up for kids with outside fire and marshmallows. Big room set up with bouncy castle and tons board game. Food is amazing and not over priced.
