Aloft Vaughan Mills

I feel like this hotel could be a decent place but unfortunately I had a very bad experience. When arriving at 9pm I was told the room I originally booked was not available due to something being wrong with the room. I came with myself and 3 children. I was told they could offer me a joining room, I figured we could make that work, only to get to the room and find out it’s not a joint room, just 2 rooms side by side. I told them I couldn’t have 2 13 year olds in a room alone. They offered me an air mattress. The rooms are not big so I was unsure how that would work, not to mention 2 13 year olds in one single air mattress, so they offered a second one. The other offer was a refund and I could go stay some other place, I found that to be incredibly rude. I opted for the air mattresses but they only brought one, we had to get a friend from down the hall to bring their lounge bench down to put 2 together for the other child to sleep on, we had to ask for extra bedding and towels as we were placed in a couples room. Dealing with everything ruined my night, the kids wanted to swim and I had plans with other friends staying at the same location but it was all ruined due to the problems with the room. One of the rooms offered to us had a broken lock also. My kids were upset and none of us got a good nights sleep. I was very disappointed. I feel like things could have been handled differently,

Stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it! The layout is great from the parking to the lobby. It was my easiest check-in experience and the location is perfect for shopping in Vaughan. It's literally next to the mall and all the fun activities. The room was clean and really beautiful. My family and I were very pleased with our stay. 10/10 would recommend 👍

Location was good for what I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, for what I needed was great. Could be great for families due to the closeness to Canada’s Wonderland. The area is definitely up and coming. Minimal public transportation options, definitely need a car. Minimal dining options.

I had a good stay at Aloft Vaughn Mills. The hotel is clean and stylish, has got plenty of parking and is convenient to the mall. The staff is professional, helpful responsive. The hotel dealt very professionally with some very irresponsible parents on a travelling youth hockey team. Parents, if you want to drink in your room or at the bar while your kids run and scream in the halls at 12:30 at night, you need to put your kids up for adoption and get about the business of drinking your pathetic life away. It’s really very sad, mostly for these kids, to have that be their life. I don’t blame the kids or the hotel, I blame the ‘adults’. Most notably, the ‘men’. It’s a weak man who can’t or won’t control their 11 year old son. The hotel handled the unavoidable complaints professionally and promptly. I would stay again.

Liked that it’s walkable to the mall but much needed restaurant on site or close by…our floor was extremely noisy due to a hockey team, kids running the hallways!

It was a great location for our needs to stay in the area for a family wedding

Worked great for a family getaway. We did a bit of shopping and visited Canada’s Wonderland. Pool was a bit small, but rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable.

I like the modern look of this hotel, it was quiet, nice and relaxing! i enjoyed the warm pool that was great for our kids and me and my husband enjoyed our time as well at the bar! very friendly staff and service!

Service was excellent from the moment I checked in to the moment we checked out. The food we ordered for late night bites was delicious and well presented. Very clean and pool was so fun for the kids! We will definitely be rebooking on our next vacation to Toronto.

Great place with an idea location and a great heated pool . My 10 year looked forward to going back to hotel a getting in the pool. That was his highlight. Even after going to canada wonderland and waterpark his most favorite part was the pool. He loved and spent easily couple hours in it a day. Also right across the street was a large mall. We would eat breakfast and dinner at the food court and wander around (Im a newly single father, still in midst of a ugly divorce. It was a great getway from the stresses). At the mall is the biggest legoland in canada. Its just an awesome place to stay. Highly recommended it with young kids. Would definitely come back.
