Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thunder Bay

The location was the best part of our stay. Ww got everywhere we wanted to visit without having to run around too much. We got the farthest room from the pool on the third floor facing the paking lot. The room was a nice decent size for a family room. It looked exactly like the pictures. But our room had a bit much stains and it smelled weird when we went in the first time. There were also rug stains and several spots. We just sprayed room air freshener to get the smell out. Air condiioning was working well. Washrooms were well maintained and cleaned well too. Breakfast was decent. Light breakfast consisted of Boiled eggs, cereals, oatmeal packets, fresh pancakes, , coffee and tea station. No warm food selecions.

Nothing in The breakfast, My family need to go to Tim Hortons for breaskfast.

I like that there is more than one door that goes outside. Makes it convenient. Butt cans need to be at every entrance or exit it was pretty gross butts everywhere. Not impressed by one of the housekeepers telling my dear friend she looked old with her grey hair. Went for a swim with my small child. Two young adults came in and were extremely inappropriate in the hot tub. Made me and my family very uncomfortable, having two young adults making out and grinding on each other in the hot tub while my child was right there. We ended up leaving the pool. This was the only reason we stayed here was for the pool. Even a staff member came in looked at the young adults “necking” and just turned around and walked out of the pool area. Carpet needs to go in the rooms. The couch was disgusting. Huge stain on the floor which was pink. Great that you have reusable shampoo and conditioner and body wash. But they were empty so that sucked while having a shower. Breakfast was okay. Coffee is to weak. Not worth what I paid for a night..

Very poor service staff was rude ignorant pool was broken hot tub broken staff kept lying right to ur face ignorant housekeepers paid for suite felt like a little box not impressed left and checked out eraly will never stay there was told epedia was suppose to help with some kind of refund but still nothing not impressed with overall stay was awful my family was depressed my children sad cause they could not swim just not a quality staybfor the pric i was charged

It had a pool, thats what I liked. The whole property was dirty, our room was filthy. Kids running up & down the halls until midnight. Kids screaming, parents screaming at the kids. Its the worst stay at a hotel ever & I stay at a lot of hotels for work. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The essentials of the room were clean - bathroom, sink, furniture - but the rug needed a good shampooing. The main issue was the noise caused by children running up and down the hallway. It happened each day of our stay but on the night of Jan. 31 it lasted for three hours - from 7pm to 10pm. We were on the top floor in room 316 hoping to avoid any overhead noise that one can experience if we were on lower floors but it didn't help. This was not a school group or anything like that. It was a disturbance to our stay.

I asked for fresh towels and toilet paper for my family of 4. I got my receipt to check out slid under my door, and never got the towels or tp.

The carpets in the room were very dirty, the hotel is in need of repair and the carpets either removed or cleaned. The pool is small but the kids seem to enjoy it.

Very comfortable, kids seemed to enjoy staying here! Great sleep!

Disappointed in the cleanliness of our family "suite" - room was not vacuumed, sticky spots on floor and table surfaces sticky & dirty, toothpaste on bathroom counter, dirty tissue on floor, alarm clock flashing incorrect time. Advised front desk, they sent house keeping back. I was told the hockey teams trashed the rooms the night before. Our room did not have any hotel info... ie. pen, paper, restaurants in area, info about amenities. Rest of the property was littered with cigarette butts and other garbage (understandable with melting snow) garbage remained untouched for our duration though. Hand sanitizer disposals empty. Every floor ( hallway, elevator) was very dirty... once again, time of year, but should it be left intouched? I wasn't expecting 5 star but was disappointed at the lack if cleanliness, especially with on going pandemic. Will not stay again.
