Alt Hotel Ottawa

What a great stay at Alt. The photos on the site are pretty true. The rooms are perfectly decorated with a decent surround sound from the TV; the bathroom and shower were spotless. We were on the 12th floor and didn't hear much of the city. I never waited for an elevator and the staff was friendly and let me know I could park for free on the weekends on the street (FREE!). 9 min drive to Carelton, a perfect walk (10-15 min?) to Parliament, Byward Mrkt, Rideau Centre. Several Tim Horton's (some closed on wknd), Starbucks and Eggspectations within a close walk. I will stay here again when visiting my kid at Uni.
