It was amazing , just bathroom door seems to be difficult to close it. It need a lot of strength to push the door. Otherwise , the room was perfect for a family of 5. The breakfast need just a lit bite less of meat, just to add a lit bite more of variety for the people who can not eat pork or meat. Thank for all ! The hotel was well placed that we need near to us, like restaurants and a mall.

The service was great, cleanliness was less than average with there being something all over our ceiling , the hinge on the fridge door was broken so it hung down , outside when we first pulled in the pot light was dangling from the roof and there were people loitering around the building. From about 12am - 4:00am there was yelling and a child crying constantly in the hallway keeping myself, my husband and my kids awake. Lastly , we went for a swim and the pool was very cold and not super enjoyable. Overall not a terrible but not a great experience.

The pool was down for "maintenance". This was not communciates at the time of booking, checking in or on their website. I was travelling with my children for a funeral. We drove 5 hours one way to get to Barrie. I specifically booked this hotel because it had a pool and a hot tub. We found out the pool was down for maintenance only when going to use the pool. I went and asked the front desk if it just needed cleaning or something and if they expected it open the next day maybe. The front desk said no it would be closee the whole time. I mentioned i specifically booked for this amentity and was pretty disappointed for my children and the desk clerk didnt care one bit. I usually have great stays with the Best western hotels but the lack of communication has really put me off this chain.

Room was ok but the bathroom was small and no vanity top at all. There was a hockey tournament and kids were running around and screaming in the halls very late into the evening. Will not recommend or revisit.

The property is near the Highway 400 on the south side of Barrie. Lots of Parking. Had a room with 2 queen beds in the main room and 1 more queen bedroom which we found Ideal for our group. The problem was the room had not been cleaned before we checked in. They sent 3 staff to prepare it while we waited in the hall. Indoor pool was liked by our child.

Check in was easy and quick. We were early and our room was not ready yet but let my kids use the pool while we waited for the room to be ready.

Noisy neighbours in adjoining room (had adjoining door) not quiet. Toilet needs fixing very slow. Basic breakfast good. Pool enjoyed by grandkids. Busy area surrounding hotel, lots of traffic, which wasn't favourable. Hotel could do with a refresh, room smelt of smoke when you entered, maybe a refresh, think it was the older part of the hotel, relative stayed in new part and that room smelled fine.

Staff was welcoming and helpful, food was amazing quantity and tasteful. The pool was perfect for the kids not too deep and heated water was the perfect touch . The beds where extremely comfy and we will be returning
