Small children were running around late at night and the room was14 F when we opened the door as apparently they forgot to turn off the air conditioning!!

The staff does a great job from hospitality to Breakfast served. It is a great option while in Orillia at very reasonable rates. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

My towel rack in bathroom broke apart. Asked Robert to fix it. Tod me if I was still paying room he could not go in. I was here for 5 days. I was unaware I had to request my room to be cleaned. A family was stuck in the parking lot due to the amount of snow. Robert would not assist them in any way them even though he had a snowblower, which he had used to clean the sidewalk They were forced to stay another night and were refused a discount. He blew snow all over my car parked outside my room. He was rude, and didn’t want to help anyone out. I felt bad for these people. Diane

Great hotel & staff friendly & fast to provide any requests such as extra towels. Gave the hotel a 4/5 for condition only bcos they r currently in the midst of upgrades. Breakfast staff amazing & looked after us like we were family! Big question, of course, if we would stay here again....absolutely! Only a 5-10 minute car ride to the casino, tons of restaurants you could walk to if you wanted & very quiet.

We were just looking for a place to stay in the evenings in order to visit family in the campgrounds nearby at Bass Lake and it was a huge improvement over where we stayed last year. It is still taking some getting used to that housekeeping doesn't automatically replace towels and coffee for stays shorter than 3 days in most hotels but it's nice to know no one has been in your room while you were out.
