Always a convenient place to stay, although it is pricey. This trip we were disappointed in the restaurant service, to be honest. Despite there being many vacant tables, they made us wait over 15 mins with 2 jet lagged and ratty kids. When we asked why, they said they didn’t have enough staff to service all the tables in the portion of the restaurant they were using. But, when you have an 8am departure, this hotel cannot be beaten for convenience!

I like the hotel being so clean and the airport view. But there is no fridge and no free bottle water in the room. At around 12am I heard a noise that bothered me falling asleep. At checking in, we asked whether we can get a room for better airport view , since my kids want to see the plane taking off and landing. But they assigned a room at the lowest floor with only limited plane view. We had to ask to change a room. Poor customer service received from the front desk.

Was so nice to have an easy place to stay after a long late flight with 2 small children. Our toddler enjoyed having a later night bath in the big tub! Comfy beds. Given the location & being The Fairmont, the room was expensive but was well worth the splurge. We do wish that the room service was more affordable but it was a short walk back down to the airport food court for a bite to eat

Nice, convenient. Missing signs to get to hotel after customs once in the elevator to get to 3rd floor. Knew on one end or the other but didn’t have my bearings since first trip to YVR. Friendly, professional staff, secure (can’t use fairmont’s elev prior to checkin). Ate in food court since before 8pm closing and brought food to room to watch planes & didn’t want to change to bus casual for hotel restaurant w kids and fatigue from travel. Overnight for cruise so convenient. Clean overall. Bathroom not private since sliding doors for entry and opening into room for view (idk-but common w landscape views—fine bc with immed fam but wouldn’t want with coworkers or friends no bathroom locks and no separate water closet.; would recommend and stay again. Recycled wood keycard is cool

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the rooms were great and they were able to accommodate a joined room for my family and I.

Staying at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport was convenient after a late flight with two little kids. Short walk from the terminal and friendly check in. Rooms were clean and quiet. Great amenities. Wonderful breakfast downstairs. Parking was tricky but once we got our ticket explained it was easy coking and going. I would definitely stay here again.

We landed late at night with our two children and I had asked in advance for a baby crib to be installed in our room. During check-in, I’m confirmed a crib is already installed in our room just to arrive and see no crib in sight. Once I called the crib arrived quickly, but I wasn’t too impressed with the check-in experience, especially being tired from the travel and having to deal with two young children.

Like many travellers, I suspect, we stayed at the Fairmont Airport the night before catching a flight. We may have found our new, favourite way to end a visit with family. Check in was easy, dinner at the restaurant was delicious - we focused on West Coast and BC items. Our room was comfortable with a view of the runway and mountains. We would be happy to return again.

They were so accommodating and brought up a mini fridge right away for my toddler. Unfortunately they didn’t have the chest of kids treasures!
