Not so much the property but I booked through Expedia and looked for a pet friendly hotel. I booked the room but when I arrived they are surprised I have a dog and they have no pet friendly rooms available. This is a flaw for Expedia as it doesn’t ask if we have a dog, the hotel says we weee suppose to contact hotel directly. I like booking online and not calling, waiting and answering questions. Add the question on Expedia , number of adults, number of children and add will you have a pet

Everything was terrific. We received a call the day before we arrived and were offered a promotion to up graded to a Executive Suite at no extra charge. As we were on our way to a family event at Widewater, a half hour further on, they were okay with us checking in around noon so we did not have to come back until we were ready to stay for the night. The continental breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and help full. The was nothing we did not like during our stay.

I was pleasantly surprised as the price was lower than other places with more stars!! The beds were comfy with crisp white bedding. The place was clean and the staff quick and pleasant. We were staying there for a near by family reunion so it was perfect!!!
