The Dorothy is simplicity at its finest. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean and quaint spot to take it easy after a long day of exploring Banff, this is it. The room was clean and suitable for a family, couple or solo explorer. I appreciated the easy parking, great soaps, a real coffee mug (for real the hotel paper ones suck), and how quiet it was in the evening. The balcony is a great feature too — couldn’t make use of it due to weather but I’ll be back again, hopefully during warming months!

They upgraded our room to the family suite , which was amazing 2 bedroom full kitchen and dinning room with living room and a sauna!! The lodge was dated but tastefully decorated and very clean. The ambience was great . I would definitely stay again .
