Overall extremely disappointed, we had been looking forward to the stay, however they are charging for five star hotel of what it used to be it’s now old doors peeling holes in walls. Nothing is maintained it’s dirty and we couldn’t even use a microwave to warm up our babies milk without a $50 charge

The staff were rude and didn’t honour the Expedia gold reward programme and their was screaming kids in the pool everyday from 530am so no sleep in … the lifts were constantly out of service and my husband sat in someone’s urine who had peed on the seat at breakfast and the staff had not cleaned it up !!! The hotel has gone to absolute disgrace

Customer service was really good and the general cleanliness was good. Breakfast buffet had a great range and was well done, but some plates had very small food stuck to it and I understand it was hard for the kitchen hand to see them. Some child high chairs were put together incorrectly so the straps didn't fit my baby. The general condition of the building, including pool, is old and needs to be renovated. The pool in particular had a lot of broken tiles in and around it. Most of the pool lounger cushions were mostly torn. During peak times at the pool, there weren't enough pool loungers or towels for everyone. We stayed in two superior king rooms and the furniture wasn't consistant with the photos online. Both were missing a sofa and the one room was also missing the arm chair. The rooms were next to each other and were the same size. The location of the lifts could have been imrpoved. Our rooms were facing the Marina Mirage shopping centre, which meant they were at the end of the building and far away from the lifts. The basement carpark had enough spots, but it was stuffy and sometimes had visible garbage bags or other things that should have been hidden.

Upon arrival we were told it was $50 for valet to park our vehicle or we could just park it in the same spot for free. So after parking we went up to our room, which was very disappointing. The room was tired, the bed were small and the toilet and bathroom were all in the same room as the bedroom. Not really ideal for a family of four.
We looked at the buffet breakfast before checkout but at $50 per head we decided it was better to go to a cafe in town. Was not the experience we expected and we will not be returning.

This hotel still maintains very well after so many decades. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfy. It’s great to spend few days here with family.

We stayed 2 nights in the lagoon king room. We had a bit of a view of the lagoon from our room. The hotel was nice, giving a posh feel, and had a great pool area. We did not dine at the restaurants so cannot comment on this though prices were on the more premium side and required bookings.
Unfortunately the WIFI did not connect for us. We were on level 2. It would often disconnect or not connect at all. We also had issues with the on demand movies connection. If you had kids or need to do business work, keep this in mind.

Beautiful place, amazing staff and service. However it is terribly run down and if you get a room near the road it's not quiet. Indoor pool and spa has not been in service for over 2 years. Outdoor pool is freezing but beautiful and not a good place for children.

We did enjoy our stay at Hotel Palazzo Versace. The clean rooms, beautiful Medusa everywhere and anywhere, breakfast buffet, the ambiance , the friendly hotel staff and the list goes on. We have no negative thing to say about this place. Our stay with a one year old baby was very pleasant .While I heard people saying it’s not worth the hype for this place, in my opinion it’s worth the money.

After contacting Wotif on a timely basis to cancel my reservation, due to my husband falling and braking his pelvis, I was told Palazzo Versace would not cancel my reservation. I am astounded that a hotel of this quality would not issue a refund for medical reasons. I was also totally unimpressed with the Wotif service, as the person I dealt with told me has had contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation. I don't believe this happened at all, as shortly after I cancelled the booking with Wotif, I then receive a "Welcome" letter from the hotel and the following day an email from"Wotif" asking how the check-in was. Clearly the Wotif person did not do their job correctly, even though it was stated they had contacted the hotel for cancellation. Sadly, I will NEVER use Wotif again. I will advise friends and family to do the same. If this message is actually not in vain, I would really appreciate someone looking into this fiasco.
